Update! Online Matchmaking Arrives! New Perks and Hats!

We’re excited to release our next update!

Not only has our Lead Gentle-Engineer Thomas brought us yet another Bounty of Bugfixes, but he’s made disputing a whole lot smoother with Quality of Life Updates including gameplay settings, public online matchmaking, and more improvements to online lobbies. See the full list of changes below.

[h3]Hark! The Explosive Bowtie Returns[/h3]
It’s back and better than ever! Select this perk and upon taking damage, you’ll drop bombs at the feet of your enemies. Stack this perk for maximum martyrdom!



[h3]Three Brand-New Perks![/h3]
  1. Akimbo - Give 'em the ol' one-two with an additional use of melee weapons— for those that like to fight up-close and personal.
  2. Pitcher’s Glove - Don this trusty glove to lob additional bombs and freeze grenades.
  3. Swordfish - Add damage to your headbutts by turning them into head-bayonets!

[h3]Online[/h3]
  • Added a public lobby list. Hosts can set their lobby to be publicly joinable in the bottom by clicking “Make Lobby Public.” Your friend’s lobbies will always appear in the lobby list.
  • Added an easy “Invite” button for inviting Steam friends to your lobby.
  • Improved consistency of joining mid-game.
  • Host can now kick players from the leaderboard menu.
  • Added rich presence support to show your friends which map you’re disputing on.

[h3]Gameplay Settings[/h3]
  • Host can now set the number of rounds required to win. We don’t recommend going above 10 rounds. But feel free to nuke your computer with 2^32 traps on round 67.
  • Host can now restart games from the pause menu at any time, including after finishing a game! Meaning the host can now restart without going back to the lobby.
  • Added a leaderboard (Tab / Select) showing wins and perks for each player. Hover over other players to view their perks.
  • Players joining mid-game will always join as ghosts.
  • Character customizations will be saved between online sessions.
  • Multiple players can now play with the same color outfit in the same game. Make your own team matches!
  • Added UI to show how many extra uses of an item you have.
  • Added UI to show the remaining duration of your item’s use.

  • Synced physics of destruction caused by other player’s ragdolls.
  • Spin kick has an increased cooldown before it can damage the same player.
  • Fixed tons of bugs relating to late-joining players.
