Content Update 0.3 Drops Now - Rule the Waves with Njord & New Weapons!

Hey Jotunnslayers!


Content Update 0.3 is LIVE - featuring new weapons and Njord, the God of the High Seas!



[h2]1. Meet the Njord - Seafarer Supreme and Lord of Wealth[/h2]



God of the High Seas, wealth, and (unsurprisingly) fishing has made an unexpected arrival in Jotunnslayer with the Weapon Update. Alongside an extra new weapon for each class, Njord brings a unique water-based skill set worth its weight in sea salt. Unleash amphibious assaults or call forth the monsters of the abyss - though some of them may be a bit... fishy.

With Njord, we’ve brought you even more riches from the sea and plunder from daring raids. His permanent passives directly enhance your gold acquisition, retention, and chest spawns - ensuring wealth flows as freely as the tides!

And last, as we have mentioned sea monsters - a monstrous fish - a leviathan even

[h2]2. New weapons for each class[/h2]

BERSERKER WEAPONS

Jagged Axes - The Bleeding Berserker’s Choice!
20% Critical Damage boost means more devastating hits.
Meat Grinder Skill - hurl 3 massive axes, one returns!
Bleed chance (30%) means enemies suffer even after the hit.
Strengths: Short cooldown, Bleed stacks, high Crit damage!
Weaknesses: No Crowd Control, lower initial damage.


Sea Wolf’s Axes
- The Brutal Anchor of Destruction
30% Collection Range boost - grab loot with ease.
Anchor Skill - Pulls enemies into an 8m radius for massive 50 damage!
100% Slow Chance makes enemies helpless for 5s.
Strengths: Highest damage of any weapon skill, enemy pull, full slow!
Weaknesses: Longest cooldown, no passive damage bonus.


SEERESS WEAPONS
Totemic Staff
- The Endurance Master
+1 HP regen per second - stay alive longer!
Tormented Spirits Skill - unleash 6 maddened ghosts dealing 25 damage.
Strengths: Reliable damage, short cooldown, defensive passive regen.
Weaknesses: No Crowd Control, no bonus skill effect.


Tidecaller Staff - Control the Battlefield!
10% Attack Speed bonus for extra mobility.
Tentacle Skill – whips enemies with knockback & 25% Stun chance!
Strengths: Knockback, stun, movement boost.
Weaknesses: Longest cooldown of Seeress weapons, no direct attack boost.



REVENANT WEAPONS

Composite Bow - Precision and Power!
10% Cooldown reduction - fire more often!
Unholy Barrage Skill - Fires a growing barrage of bolts, 3 strikes per shot!
Strengths: Large area, short cooldown, easy control.
Weaknesses: Low initial damage, no offensive passive boost.


Serpent Bow - Unleash the Abyss!
20% Dash Cooldown reduction - stay nimble!
Abyssal Wyrm Skill - A deep-sea wyrm circles you, damaging enemies.
Strengths: Continuous AoE, high DPS, great cooldown/duration ratio.
Weaknesses: Low initial damage, no offensive passive bonus.


FLAME SISTER WEAPONS

Cruel Dagger - Strike from the Shadows!
6% Attack Critical Chance boost - more crits, more kills!
Shadowstrike Skill - 50% Slay Chance on multiple strikes!
Strengths: High Slay chance, multiple attacks per strike.
Weaknesses: Low initial damage, small area of effect.


Pirate Dagger - The Marauder’s Choice!
8% Attack Speed increase - strike fast, strike hard.
Hot Wave Skill - Launch a scalding water wave, 35 damage, and 50% Cripple chance!
Strengths: High initial damage, cripples enemies, short cooldown.
Weaknesses: No defensive passive bonus.

Full Patch Notes:

New Content
  • Added 2 new weapons for each class

Improvements
  • Enhanced Quit Raid functionality
  • Improved cutscene display on wide screens
  • Weapon skill balancing adjustments
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed issue where bosses and mini-bosses could knock players out of bounds
  • First skill point purchase was more expensive than intended after reset
  • Frozen elite enemies no longer stop animating
  • Fixed elites teleporting while casting
  • Dash recharge now resumes properly after a boss cutscene
  • Resolved issue where active display settings couldn't be changed
  • Muspelheim spiders now properly respect slay chance
  • XP Crystals and Gold from ghosts and flying enemies are now properly reachable
  • Addressed frame drops caused by certain skills
Known Issues
  • Text overlapping in certain languages
  • Stats from modifiers may not be accurately reflected in the pause menu
  • The game may still not save on some devices
