DEVBLOG #14: Mines, Madness, and Monsters: All the secrets of Svartalfheim
Hey Jotunnslayers!
As we approach the 0.4 content update, we figured it’s time to ease the impatience - by revealing a bit more about the next world you’ll face in Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel!
Introducing:
Never-ending stone-carved halls, sprawling mineshafts, and the grand foundries of the industrious Svartalfar - or, more familiarly, Dwarves (or Dwarfs, depending on your spelling preference).
Somewhere deep in these winding corridors lies our next map, packed with everything you’d expect dwarves to have hidden away: minecarts, riches, goblins, trolls - you name it.
This time, though, it wasn’t a fiery god or monstrous being that spelled their downfall...
Prepare to dive into a dark, mine-themed map, twisted with sprawling minecart railways, heavy gates, and ancient gadgetry - all once used by the Svartalfar to forge artifacts for gods and men alike!
WHAT WILL THE NEW MAP THROW AT YOU?
New Objectives: Uncover the sinister substance that drove the Svartalfar to madness!
New Modifiers: Think you're stable? Think again - prepare for tremors, blindness, and brutal decision-making.
