Patch 0.89 is out now!

Patch v0.89 has been released with the following changes.

  • New NPC Quest Screens
  • Fixed an issue with some game windows throwing an error when you use F11 to resize your game window with said in-game screens open.
  • The main screen now correctly shows the last character you played, versus the last character you made.
  • Completing Lady J`s starting quests now removes the icon above the Exit (previously it would only disappear if you exited and entered the Inn again).
  • Fixed an issue with Save and Exit potentially exiting during the save causing the save file to be deleted.
  • Added a new in-game feature to restore a save file backup. This can be accessed via the main menu, Options screen then the Backup(s) button. Restoring a save will overwrite your current corresponding character with it's earlier incarnation.
  • Added a browse button to the Options screen when not logged in, clicking this will open Windows Explorer and navigate to the game install folder.

  • The buy items window now has an improved layout.

v0.87 Cosmetic and Gameplay Changes

The following changes have been applied to v0.87.

  • A change to the way monster damage is displayed on screen has been added. Damage totals are now grouped together when you use a power, so you know exactly what kind of damage your powers put out.
  • The Map (M) screen now shows you a running total of how many maps you have unlocked.
  • Combat damage/effect messages now display above the lighting layer so they can be read easily day or night
  • Ability range circle now draws above the lighting layer so you can see it more easily.
  • Fixed an issue with spells not auto-targeting a monster if nothing was selected and the monster did not bump into you.
  • New commands, the < key now targets and attempts to move to the nearest monster to the left of the player, while the > key attempts to select and move to the nearest monster to the right.

v.0.86 is now live!

A couple of major changes this time around.

  • The Score/Bounty display counter previously to the left below your avatar has been replaced with a bounty/score bar beneath the Energy bar in the top left. This should be more intuitive when it comes to figuring out how much more bounty you need to reach your next level etc...
  • The Ready system from the Inventory screen after selecting an item, has been changed and decluttered. Instead of showing 8 different ready buttons there is now simply one READY button. Clicking this button then shows a new screen to select which slot you wish to assign the item to.
