v0.79 Unlocking the Sanctum

The latest patch to v0.79 brings more functionality to the Sanctum.

The Sanctum Management system now shows you stats for your Sanctum including it's level, Health, Supplies and the number of guards you have protecting it.

You can upgrade your Sanctum by putting various items into its Stores.

An upgraded Sanctum will unlock more features and possibilities moving forward.

This patch also includes the addition of Greysnout a new pet you can capture in the Back Alley Club Base.

Patch 0.77 with Pilfering Added

Today sees the implementation of patch 0.77 which includes the new Pilfering ability.

What is Pilfering?
Good Question, it is the art of stealing from an NPC. Please note PILFERING raises your bounty, so is only intended for folks that like to embrace being naughty/criminal.

How to Pilfer?
Stealth, stand next to an NPC, click/select the NPC and click SPACE.

You'll receive either a random item, some money or a chest (rare chance). If you fail you may be unstealthed.

Also added to this patch:

  • Some interface sound effects now play at 30% of your Effect volume level.
  • Added Timid Tim and the Back Alley Club to the Alley behind Frontiersville.
  • Added a fix to prevent the secondary pet from not loading correctly due to a scaling issue.
  • The Quest Journal now groups Complete and Incomplete quests together, with Incomplete quests shown first. This makes it easier to find a quest you are working on.

v0.76 Sound Effects Patch 2

The second patch containing updates to over twenty monster sound effects.

This patch will also become the new DEMO version.

v0.75 Sound Effect Improvement Patch Part 1

Todays patch includes a number of improvements to the way sounds work in game. In particular regard to NPCs and interacting with NPCs.

A number of the NPCS were previously scripted with a generic series of sound effects which gets repetitive. Work is ongoing to update these to be a little more enjoyable.

A number of monsters have also had new sound effects added as all too often I simply went with "Bear" attack noises .... lazy but this is why the game is currently going through early access to iron out these last few kinks.

Speaking of kinks, a glitch which caused male players to use the female voice has been fixed.

Please note this is simply Part 1 of a series of patches to correct the sound effects.
