I am working hard on all the chapters in Dead Faces! Soon you will be able to finally unravel Jack's mind. Provided below are some work in progress screenshots from one of the four chapters. The screenshots in particular showcase the chapter "Baby Luke's Chapter" which you can start from the bathroom in your apartment, the chapter will involve a large attic, flooded basement as well as a library with nightmarish visuals and hallucinations as you will be plunging deeper into Jack's past, trauma and what events ultimately occurred between him and Amanda in "Amanda's Chapter".

List of chapters in the full game.
  • Arthur's Chapter
  • Amanda's Chapter
  • Linda's Chapter
  • Baby Luke's Chapter

The full version of Dead Faces will be launching in 2025 on Steam. Exact release date will be posted on my X at https://x.com/AzaGameStudio

The full game will feature 4 chapters and 3-4 hours of gameplay, there will be no looping hallways and you will be taken throughout a multitude of different locations including Jack's childhood home where he first saw the tall man, the hospital where his father Arthur stayed and many more locations as you play through the different chapters each in relation to a certain character from your past, unveil their faces and uncover the truth. Some of my inspirations for the game include movies like Jacobs Ladder (1990) and the Shining (1980). Jack's apartment serves as a HUB are that is interconnected with the different chapters which can be activated through mirrors. Each time a chapter is completed you will return to the HUB area and Jack's apartment will change dramatically throughout the game as he plunges deeper into his psyche.

The game will be released on the following platforms: Steam and possibly Playstation network after porting the game. Native controller support will be supported at launch.

Dead Faces is a highly personal project featuring a bunch of custom paintings handmade by myself and brought into the game as textures.

Thank you for your continued support!
