Wild Assault Anti-Cheat Ban Notice - May 8

We have recently tracked and analyzed suspicious account activity, resulting in the permanent ban of 2 accounts confirmed to be using unauthorized third-party software, plugins, or cheats.

Wild Assault Early Access May 8 Hotfix Patch Note

Hello Wild Ones!

A hotfix is rolling out at 3 AM PT on May 8, 2025. Ingame matches won't be affected by this update. However matchmaking may not function normally during the process. Please exit the game, complete the update, and launch your game client again.

[h2]Optimizations[/h2]
  1. Removed certain roadblocks in The Ricky Mountains and The Crescent Bay to improve movement flow.
  2. Adjusted and optimized the ingame chat profanity filter system.

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  1. Fixed the incorrect reload animations displayed in third person view.
  2. Fixed abnormal reload behavior on certain shotguns.
  3. Fixed an issue where firing (LMB) during M88 reload would cancel the reload and jam the weapon.
  4. Fixed various Japanese localization errors.
  5. Fixed localization text errors in Erwin's cosmetic items.
  6. Fixed incorrect description for Zhenshan's Q ability.
  7. Fixed an issue where revived valiants appeared invisible to players who joined mid-match.
  8. Fixed an occasional issue where Valiant’s weapon would lose recoil after redeploying if knocked down immediately after a melee attack.
  9. Fixed incorrect LMG damage values when switching from shotguns to LMGs on the deployment screen.
  10. Fixed an occasional issue where Hongying’s max HP would become incorrect after retrieving a First Aid Capsule while not at full health.
  11. Fixed an unintended scrolling issue on the Project Sextans' main page.
  12. Fixed an issue where the red dot notification would not appear properly due to incorrect default settings for AN94 muzzle attachments in the weapon attachment system.
  13. Fixed a climbing exploit near Target C’s room door in Operation Mojave, accessible by spamming jumps.
  14. Fixed an issue where the game would get stuck loading when switching between the lobby and career profile.
  15. Fixed an issue where playtime data from no death matches was not being counted in players' career statistics.
  16. Fixed an issue where Uly's weapon model remained visible incorrectly after casting his Ultimate immediately following his E ability.
  17. Fixed an issue where Norman's E ability effect would persist permanently and the ability would become unavailable if activated the moment he was knocked down.
  18. Fixed an occasional issue where right-clicking a weapon on the Valiant Details page would incorrectly open the attachment settings for a different weapon.
  19. Added collision to the coastal area near Target C in The Crescent Bay to prevent players from entering restricted areas.
  20. Removed the Destroyer Silencer attachment for the M88 shotgun.
  21. Further optimized collision on the outer side of the shipping containers in Area B of The Crescent Bay.

Wild Assault Early Access: Hotfix & Balancing Patch Notes – April 27



Hello Wild Ones!

Since the launch of Wild Assault Early Access, we have been grateful for your enthusiastic feedback and participation in our surveys. Our team has carefully reviewed your input and worked tirelessly to address the most pressing concerns. Today, we are excited to share the first batch of balance adjustments based on your suggestions.

In this update, we are introducing the first wave of balance adjustments for Valiants and weapons, taking a step toward healthier long-term match dynamics.

Due to the tight development schedule, our primary focus has been on bug fixes, resulting in delayed balance adjustments. We sincerely apologize for any negative impact on your gameplay experience. As compensation, we will distribute Weapon XP Card III *50 to all players.

Optimizations
  • Optimized the targeting logic for Erwin's Tactical Ability (Q), improving overall smoothness.
  • Improved the responsiveness of Erwin's Ultimate (Z) for smoother controls.
  • Optimized Uly’s Tactical Ability Q (Ulymobile) control logic and removed the auto detonation mechanic during manual control.
  • Optimized Zhenshan’s Ultimate Ability Z cancellation logic. Now his ultimate will be cancelled if he moves while it is active.
  • Optimized Vladimir’s Fury Cannon projectile collision to prevent unintended blocking by the Field Fort.
  • Further optimized matchmaking to improve game balance.
Valiants Balancing
  • Erwin (Cat)
    • Tactical Ability (Q) - Side by Side Loyalty
      • Base healing rate increased from 10 HP/s → 15 HP/s.
      • Enhanced healing rate increased from 20 HP/s → 35 HP/s.
      • Revive time reduced from 5s → 3.5s.
    • Ultimate Ability (Z) - Bond of Live and Death
      • Removed startup and recovery frames.
  • Jack (Wolf)

      Signature Ability (E) - H-6 "Bloodhunt"
      • Effect duration reduced from 10s → 5s.
      • Enemy scans per activation reduced from 4 → 2.
    • Ultimate Ability (Z) - D-37 Wolf Pack Artiillery
      • Charge speed reduced to 70%.
  • Zhenshan (Panda)
    • Ultimate Ability (Z) - Precision Strike
      • Explosion radius reduced from 20m → 13m.
      • Max damage range increased from 2m → 3m (from center point).
      • Edge damage reduced from 50% → 40% of max damage.
  • Vladimir (Bear)
    • Tactical Ability (Q) – Burning Barrel
      • Explosion damage reduced from 70 → 50.
  • More Adjustments Coming in Future Patches
    • Adding a landing indicator for Zhenshan's Ultimate Ability (Z) - Precision Strike.
    • A smoke mechanic will be implemented in Hongying's abilities set.
    • Enhanced damage zone indicators for explosives and negative effect areas.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the Battle Pass task progress wouldn't update in real-time for players who remained on the Battle Pass page during task update.
  • Fixed an issue where reloading M88 incorrectly triggered the bolt-pulling action.
  • Fixed an issue where the player's view would incorrectly lock into first-person perspective after aiming down sights with sniper rifles.
  • Fixed an issue where MK4 weapon previews would show incorrect scope appearance after switching cosmetics.
  • Fixed an abnormal capture point icons display in WA Raid mode.
  • Fixed incorrect game points display in WA Conquest mode.
  • Fixed an issue where the disadvantaged team gained abnormal game points after capturing the Neutral Item in an Unbalanced State.
  • Fixed an issue where the cloud models on The Crescent Bay unintentionally blocked bullets due to incorrect collision settings.
  • Fixed an issue where players could climb certain structures (such as tower tops and high walls) on The Crescent Bay due to incorrect collision settings.
  • Fixed the incorrect deployment UI layout when joining The Crescent Bay mid-game.

  1. Fixed an issue where Erwin’s Q ability did not maintain proper connections with allies when activated.
  2. Fixed an issue where Uly’s Ultimate left behind lingering burrowing sound effects.
  3. Fixed an issue where equipping the Optical Tactical Scope prevented Akai Hime’s Q ability from triggering stealth when used in smoke.
  4. Fixed an issue where Uly's primary weapon model incorrectly appeared on his right paw during his ultimate ability cast.
  5. Fixed an animation glitch that occurred when Erwin’s Q ability was interrupted by Norman’s Q ability.
  6. Fixed an issue where Erwin’s E ability would behave abnormally after being revived if the ability was cast the moment she was knocked down.
