We've spent countless hours revising, expanding, and iterating on the game, and now, this labor of love is finally ready for you.

Together, we've walked this thorny path — planting hope during the toughest, and loneliest times. We've braved the scorching sun of the Mojave, trekked through the dense shadows of the Ricky Mountains, and felt the crashing waves of the Crescent Bay. Along the way, we've met the Valiants one by one.

Those storms drenched in sweat, those star-measured nights — somehow, we turned fireflies into the dawn. Side by side, we've defied the impossible and witnessed miracles. The light boat has passed countless mountains.

April 11th marks the launch of Wild Assault’s Early Access. This version is far from perfect, and we're already hard at work on future updates — your suggestions will always be invaluable. An in-game feedback system is available, and we'll stay connected through Developer Logs. Join our community and share your thoughts!

The Desolate Legion's frequent involvement in regional battles has really grabbed international attention.
As an elite recognized across borders, Zhenshan leads a secret ops team to the center of the battle zone. The team enters the most dangerous combat areas to save civilians and soldiers from both sides.

Deep down, Zhenshan knows he bears an impossible mission. As the only combat personnel, he must protect the team, assist in the investigation, and, in the worst-case scenario, fight the Desolate Legion while ensuring his teammates' safety. Zhenshan always stays ahead of his teammates, shielding them, which often puts him in danger. Fortunately, he always manages to turn the tide, but still, he rushes back into the gunfire before fully recovering.

In the meantime, Zhenshan has kept a close eye on the mysterious excavation operations of the Desolate Legion. He has ventured deep underground many times without backup, and just as the investigation is proving fruitless, he receives a secret letter from an international organization...

Two Became One

Indeed, Erwin is not alone — she is two distinct yet entangled existences. She is both Erwin and Arwin.

Arwin — no, Erwin — is the daughter of the Desolate Legion commander. During a mission in a war-torn region, Erwin discovered Arwin, barely alive beneath the rubble, and pleaded with her family to take her in.

From then on, Arwin joined the Desolate Legion and lived alongside Erwin. Unsurprisingly, the two became inseparable friends, yet they were worlds apart. Erwin had been raised under strict discipline. Her every gesture, word, and action was impeccable. Arwin, on the other hand, had known nothing but chaos and displacement since childhood. Grateful for the life-saving kindness, Arwin held deep admiration for Erwin and her family, even envying Erwin in secret. In moments of solitude, Arwin would mimic Erwin’s graceful mannerisms, her every smile and tone, whispering to herself: Arwin wants to become Erwin, and Erwin wants to become Arwin.

Erwin took her own life — though it has been so long that Arwin can hardly recall how she learned of Erwin’s death. After Erwin’s passing, Arwin submitted to the family’s arrangements, undergoing various “training” to fulfill the delusion that their daughter was still alive. It was as if Arwin, too, believed Erwin had never truly passed…

Over years of relentless “training,” Arwin’s essence was gradually erased, replaced by “Erwin” — a mercenary fighting for the Desolate Legion, carrying the name of the girl she once adored.

From then on, Erwin was Arwin, and Arwin was Erwin. Through entangled fate, two became one.

"Got a digging job? Count me in!"

Uly has been digging up Feral Relics for the Desolate Legion for over three years. This is his sixth job — he lost the previous five without any compensation. After all, it was his personal mistakes that caused the companies to suffer significant losses. Compared to strict excavation standards, the reckless Uly is much better suited to the Desolate Legion's "dig as you please" guidelines. Although he occasionally digs way beyond the target area, he sometimes ends up hitting the mark by sheer luck.

In the eyes of Uly and his family, the position with the Desolate Legion is undoubtedly a "gold mine." As for legitimacy, at least the guy in charge claimed that it was completely lawful when recruiting him. Uly has not never questioned the Desolate Legion. During his work, he occasionally heard terms like "big deals, black market, relics..." But all doubts were swept away once the payment arrived. "Cha-ching! Yeah, whatever..."

At least for now, he's pretty satisfied with his job at the Desolate Legion.
