Jack didn't set out alone — he had eight teammates. Now he's the only one left.

During his service, Jack's exceptional recon skills earned him the role of team leader at a young age. But those same sharp senses became a curse. His mind involuntarily absorbed too much sensory data, leaving him in a constant state of conflict. Hence, he preferred working solo whenever possible.

On their last mission, Jack's squad was dispatched to gather critical intel. They reached the target location as ordered — then came the ambush. In seconds, Jack and his team lay motionless.

He woke up miles behind the front line, in the Desolate Legion medical ward. Days earlier, a mercenary unit had found him barely breathing amid the corpses. Their field medics patched him up just in time.

That was how Jack joined the Legion. Call it gratitude for saving his life — or maybe just the relief of finally belonging somewhere.

That past was far longer than a mere decade.

The name "Norman" came from a Nassau bartender’s joke — the man teased him for forgetting his own name and called him "Norman." But Norman’s amnesia was no lie.

His memory began in a hospital room, waking from a deep slumber, dazed and confused. He saw himself wrapped in bandages, a dark gun barrel pointed at his head — instinctively, he seized the weapon and fought his way through blades and gunfire, relying only on his weakened body.

After escaping to safety, Norman noticed the strange scar on his forearm had been torn open. Inside the wound lay a fragment of film, marked with coordinates to a location in Mexico......
