Thank you for your attention and support, Wild Ones! Recently, our community has been discussing Wild Assault’s Early Access release. Combat Cat Studio would like to share the reasoning and vision behind this decision.

Early Access is a unique development model that allows games to be played as they progress towards a full release. Early Access encourages ongoing updates from developers, while letting players participate in direct feedback through gameplay and community involvement.

Combat Cat Studio is a team of over 20 friends who share the same vision and passion for shooter games. We aimed to create a unique game that could bring joy to the community and ourselves. That's how Wild Assault came to life. From April 2024 to Early Access, we've conducted four open tests. During this journey, we were fortunate enough to receive countless help, feedback, support, and recognition from our community, which allowed us to further polish this project in the right direction. Now that we have enough content for players to fully and sustainably experience Wild Assault, we’ve decided to enter the Early Access phase. We hope to continue collecting valuable feedback from our players during this stage and work tirelessly to reach the next phase: the final release.

Combat Cat Studio plans to continue enriching the content and polishing the gameplay experience of the Early Access version for one year until it reaches the final release stage.

In addition to addressing basic issues and optimizing the experience for the Early Access version, we aim to continue creating new content based on our roadmap for at least one year. We also plan to further explore possibilities with the Steam Workshop, improved social features, Valiant interaction experiences, Valiant customization, and much more, all to deliver engaging gameplay for our players.

The Wild Assault Early Access version offers 10 Valiants, 30 weapons, 2 game modes, 3 maps, and dozens of cosmetic appearances. It also features a comprehensive tutorial, a Valiant proficiency system, a gunsmith system, and game seasons. Compared to the open test version, we’ve further improved game performance, UI/UX, and visual quality based on community feedback. We hope you enjoy what we have to offer in Early Access!

[h2]"Will you adjust the game price once it reaches the final release stage?"[/h2]

We believe the current price (TBA) reflects the unfinished state of the Early Access version and is a way to express our gratitude to players who actively support the game during this stage. We also promise that all basic Valiants and weapons will be permanently available through free unlockable methods. We plan to slightly adjust the final release price based on the new content and features added during the Early Access phase. However, rest assured, we will ensure the pricing remains fair and reasonable based on the game’s content quality and our community’s feedback.

[h2]"How is the community involved during the game's development, according to your plan?"[/h2]

Combat Cat Studio has been actively following community discussions and collecting feedback on the Steam community and other social media platforms. Additionally, we’ve implemented an in-game feedback function to make it easier for players to express their ideas with us. Moving forward, we will continue to stay connected with our community through developer logs, keeping everyone updated on what we’ve been working on. Lastly, we warmly invite all players interested in Wild Assault to join our community and share your thoughts with us!

Combat Cat Studio sincerely invites all content creators and artists who are passionate about Wild Assault to join our community challenge! Let’s celebrate the early access release in a creative and exciting way!

Event Details

Create fanart of the anthro valiants in Wild Assault based on your preferences.
Use our valiant designs as inspiration and expand the genre in your preferred art style.
Ensure your artwork preserves the main characteristics of the valiants so we can identify which valiant you’re depicting.

How to Participate

Share your artwork on Twitter/Bluesky and tag @WildAssaultGame/@wildassault.com
Include the hashtag #WildAssaultFanartChallenge in your post.
Ensure your artwork is uploaded in JPG/PNG format with a resolution of at least 300 DPI.

NOTICE

Your artwork must be original. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of others’ work is strictly prohibited.
Submission Authorization: By participating, you grant the Combat Cat Studio permission to display or promote your artwork on social media, while you retain the right to be credited as the artist.
Prohibited Content: Your artwork must be Safe For Work. Submissions should not include inappropriate material, such as vulgarity, violence, pornography, political content, or any other content that violates platform ToS. The use of generative AI content is prohibited in this event.

Reward Timeline

Rewards will be distributed within 30 working days after the artworks have been verified and announced.

You may be disqualified if any malicious data manipulation, behaviors to be found or otherwise do not comply with the social media platform rules and regulations.
Your work should be original. You warrants that the content provided do not violate or infringe the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity, or otherwise contravene any applicable laws or regulations. If any information or materials provided by you contain any material that are not owned by you, you hereby represents that prior to submission of the content, you have obtained any and all releases and consents necessary to permit use. No unsolicited, unauthorized spam, advertising or promotional messages, or any other commercial communications to be allowed in your content. All material you use or create must conform to convention, jurisdiction, and state guidelines for public decency in your country or territory. If we found that you engage in any of the above prohibited activities on or in relation to this event, we reserve the right to delete your content in our platform and you will be no longer eligible for any reward.
The winners will be announced via public posts on the official social media accounts. During the announcement period, creators can report any problematic winning works to us. If verified, the reward will be canceled.
The rewards for the event are pre-tax. All taxes and costs on the rewards are your sole responsibility. .
