Card Art Contest Winner Selection!

The Community Card Pack 3 art contest is over!

This time around we had a record number of submissions - 188 in total, over 30 more than for last community pack! Thus it was even harder to pick the winners out of so many great submissions!

We put together a large panel of judges combined from Fruitbat Factory and Orange Juice, and gave everyone a difficult task: choose your Top 10 entries for each card, and rank them in order. 10-20 points were then given to every card based on the every judge's ranking (with a baseline of 10 points to cards not selected for top 10 to avoid a single vote swinging things too much).

A common sentiment was that even selecting top 10 out of the submissions for each card was difficult, but this gave a sense of fairness to the results which were a combination of everyone's opinions.

It was a close race to the finish for most cards, so although only one art could win, we want to showcase the top 3 for each. In addition, we're giving a special shout-out to an "Editor's Pick" for each card category for a card that received several top votes for their unique qualities but didn't end up making it to the top in the total scoring.

With the scores tallied, we finally had our results, so without further ado... the winners!

And the winner for BanaNana is... 200% unmotivated!


And lastly, Editor's Pick for this category goes to... princelaharlsama, noted for their cool compositions and color use.

And lastly, Editor's Pick for this category goes to... TangoStar, with an artistic composition highlighting that reflected the theme well and featured many Flying Red Barrel characters!

And the winner for Home Improvement is... Yasume Yukito!


Lastly, Editor's Pick goes to the extremely cute chibi art of TomSki, which puts a nice crayon color style spin on the theme!

The Editor's Pick for this art goes to Zakuromu with an especially badass art of Yuki!

Editor's Pick for this one goes to Armii, with an excellently stylized art closely matching the original Flying Red Barrel artstyle, combined with a rare character that fit the theme well!

Finally, the Editor's Pick goes to coffeetouhu, with their colorful and funny composition!

We will be getting in touch with the artists to confirm how you wish to be credited ingame - if possible, we ask winners to message PhleBuster on the Fruitbat Factory Discord server or Steam directly.

While it's impossible that everyone's favorite won, we hope many artists will add their works on Steam Workshop once the cards are added to the game, so that all fans can use their favorite artworks!
