100% Orange Juice News

A new event has arrived!

Join forces with the Sweet Gods to help dispose of Mio's foul cake-like creations before they ruin everyone's sweet Christmas, in the new Clash of Cakes event!


Every 6 chapters, all players will receive a special card called "Mio's False Cake". To safely dispose of this foul creation, either consume it (at your own peril) for a random effect, or throw it at an opponent to deal 1 damage!

Every player is working together toward cleansing the world of these cakes, using their chosen method! There is also a personal goal of 5 event games to earn event rewards as they are unlocked, and meeting it will grant you an extra prize!

The ending of the event is gorgeously illustrated by 490! The event is playable and toggleable in every game mode.

The prices of old Christmas costumes in the Shop has also been lowered from previous years, with a new category costing 25 Cakes.

10 new Player Plate Backgrounds have been added to the Shop! The plates are based on the winning Fan Art Contest entries!

You can pick up your favorite plates for the low price of 1000 stars.

Thank you everyone for participating the 100% Orange Juice 2022 Fan Art Contest! It was amazing to see so many great entries, and even rewarding 10 winners in each category still left many awesome pieces outside it.

We highly recommend checking all the artwork entries under the #100ojcontest2022 tag in the artwork hub!

After seeing the quality of entries, we decided to further expand the rewards: Top 3 entries in each category will all be added into in-game backgrounds!

After a hard judging process, the panel's scores have been tallied. One important note about winners: you might be wondering why a particular great artwork didn't win in any category. Every artist can only win once, so if they made multiple entries, only the one which ranked highest in a category would end up on the winner list even if multiple pieces would've otherwise ranked in top 10! Same piece may also have ranked in several categories, in which case it won in the category where its rank was higher.

We're very happy to announce another community fan art contest that's open to everyone!

Submit a new fan art of your own making to the 100% Orange Juice Steam community Artwork gallery with the hashtag #100ojcontest2022 to enter!

This time all contest entries will be judged under 3 separate categories:

• Essence of 100% Orange Juice
  
• Coolest
  
• Most wholesome

Entries won't need to be submitted to any particular category, and it will be up to the judges to pick which ones are the best fit for each.

We hope to see some fun entries with this new contest format!

The art contest is now open until December 4, 10:00 PST.


10 entries will win in each category!

• 1st place: Plushie of your choice + winning art featured in an in-game background + in-game contest winner pin!
  
• 2nd-3rd place: Fruitbat Factory game or DLC of choice (some restrictions apply)
  
• 4th-10th place: 100% orange Juice DLC of your choice, or a gift copy of 100% Orange Juice.

Art can be submitted any number of times. Submissions must include the tag #100ojcontest2022 and must be related to 100% Orange Juice in some way. The winner will receive an Orange Juice character plush of their choice (out of available options)!

• Create a new piece of artwork (“Entry”) that you feel fits the game 100% Orange Juice.
  
• Submission period: Until December 4 2022, 10:00 PST.
  
• Entries must be added to the Artworks section of 100% Orange Juice community hub, with the tag #100ojcontest2022 and name of the illustration.
  
• Entries must be original and not contain any copyrighted material and must adhere to Steam Community guidelines. They may not contain purposeful references outside the Orange Juice games.
  
• Multiple Entries are permitted, but only one Entry from a single contestant may be selected as a winning piece in any category.
  
• Text is permitted on the artwork.
  
• Fruitbat Factory will pick the winners at their discretion.
  
• Less than 10 entries may win in a category if there aren't sufficient high quality entries.

The long-awaited Operation Halloween event is back!

Chase the pumpkins and unlock spooky Halloween cosmetics!

Based on feedback from the last time, the moving pumpkins will now move more rarely to not slow down the game too much. In addition, players will receive 2 extra pumpkins for placing 1st, and 1 for placing 2nd in a game.

The event has been updated with new costume rewards as well!

Other changes in this update include 8 new OJDex entries & pins! Aru, Sora, Peat, Tomomo, Syura, Nanako, Saki and Kyousuke now have entries to collect.

When we released our very first character song, Ultimate Weapon Girl, the warm reception to it made us really happy. Songs are a great way to liven up the 100% Orange Juice universe, and we hope to bring you even more great tracks in the future!
