Millie Megavolte 8 Has Left Early Access

[p]Millie Megavolte 8 is now out of Early Access. Thank you to everyone who played during that time, offered feedback, and reported bugs. In particular, thank you to user Rakuraiji who found lots of creative ways to break the game--and he was the first to beat Millie's story on Demigod difficulty. Millie 8 is Leaving Early Access Soon

This update includes achievements and some other features to prepare for release.

Millie Megavolte 8 will be leaving Early Access soon. Here's what to expect:
- The base game will continue to be free.
- There will be a new Millie MegaPass DLC for $5. In addition to in-game content it will include the soundtracks for this and all previous Millie games.
- Without the MegaPass, you will only be able to play as Millie, Lance, Kilzek, and Anne in Journey Modes.

New Stuff
- Achievements have been added to the game.
- Solo Journey now tracks and displays the highest difficulty you completed on each character.

Account Purse
- Gelder and Mana Crystals earned while playing are added to the account gelder purse.
- Mana Crystals are worth 1 gelder.
- Earnings are saved after completing a story.
- Earnings are saved after every stage in Journey Mode.

Wardrobe
- All cosmetics have been locked except for defaults and items related to owning other games.
- You will need to buy weapons and outfits with gelder to use them again.
- All cosmetics cost 300 gelder.
- If you own the related game for a cosmetic you don't have to pay for it.

Fixes
- Corrected the hitbox for Gem Head's boulders.

Monda Rework and Other Things

Monda
- Monda's melee attacks have been replaced with hammer throws.
- Monda can now double jump.
- Monda's stomp does 16 damage, up from 8.
- New outfit: All Business. Includes a daily rotation for her panties like the other girls with skirts.

Heather
- Heather's Black Holes travel slower but last longer.

Hiroshi
- Fixed Hiroshi not exiting his special during his victory animation.
- Hiroshi's initial basic hit does 8, up from 6.

Ollie
- New outfit: Darkside
- New weapon: D.A.M.N. Pistol

Character Select
- The difficulty menu is now centered vertically if it has the extra difficulties.
- Some things were moved around so you can see your character after you select it in Solo Journey.

Story Mode Saves

Saves
- Story Mode progress is now saved and can be resumed by going to the Story Select menu.

Difficulty
- Fixed some issues with Grandmaster and Demigod difficulties not having Master+ qualities.

New Outfits
- Anne: Lab Coat.
- Hattie: Maid Uniform.

Other
- Fixed collision on Collapsing Bridges.

New modes, new difficulties, other stuff

Game Modes
- Adventure Mode has been replaced with Solo Journey and Team Journey.
- Solo Journey is like Adventure Mode but with one character only.
- Team Journey is the same as what Adventure Mode was.
- The level order is shuffled in the journey modes.

Difficulty
- There are two new meme difficulties for the masochists out there: Grandmaster and Demigod.
- Grandmaster only gets two hearts of health and a single checkpoint before the boss. Enemies are faster than on Master difficulty.
- Demigod only gets a single heart of health and no checkpoints. Enemies are even faster.
- To unlock Grandmaster and Demigod difficulties, you must complete at least one story on Master difficulty.

Millie
- Millie focuses 50% faster while berserk.
- Millie's basic attacks have a little more reach.

Lance
- Lance's hitbox for parrying while focused is centered on him and larger.
- Lance's kicks have more reach and always bounce him.
- Lance can kick again if he hits something.
- To make up for his lack of a dash, Lance runs slightly faster.

Ollie
- Fixed Ollie's landing state when he's dead.

Enemies
- Gorger Gem Gels' touch attack now bypasses attack armor.
- Skeleton Stalker Things now wait before throwing. Enjoy windup, stalker.
