What's in the works?

Hi everyone!

We have been working hard and we want to share some points that we're working on! This includes demo updates as well as some work on the full version of the game.

About the demo:
  • We are working on a new tutorial level to help fully understand the brain mechanic. We noticed this was not clear and we hope this new level will help newer players get a grasp on the mechanic.
  • We are making clear which levels are included in the demo and which aren't. We noticed players being confused by locked doors. This is not because you do something wrong, the levels are simply not in the demo.
  • The dash is undergoing some tests to feel better during your speedrun.
  • Sprinting default instead of walking. We are trying out to invert our movement. So that sprinting is default and you can slow down by pressing shift.
  • Some bug fixes are also in the works, if you encounter bugs, be sure to let us know. This can be here on this announcement, on our Discord, on the feedback form. We appreciate it everywhere!

We are also working on newer levels and features for the full game. We don't want to give too much away, but here is a little sneak peek.
About the full game:
  • We are experimenting with a ghost mechanism to race against.
  • Visually there are also some exciting upgrades to make the game feel a lot cooler.
  • A giant tower level, where you ascend the inside of a medieval style building.
  • ...and so much more.

But also:
We want to include you in Kick'n Hell. We have skeletons in the game that are a part of the environment and the suffering in Hell. For everyone that streams or makes videos about our Demo, you can earn yourself a skeleton!

How?
Well when you stream or play the game, simply let us know in our Discord server. If you played for a fair amount or you promoted the game to others, we want to thank you. Therefore we put your name in our game! You can be a skeleton in Kick'n Hell. Doesn't that sound cool?

We are still getting new feedback every day and we thank you for that! Without feedback the game would not improve as much as it could. So keep on giving feedback to improve Kick'n Hell!

Thanks already to all the players!
