// Begin Transmission

Greetings, both current and prospective Operators!

The ITER Corporation is pleased to announce that the Open Playtest for ITER will begin RIGHT NOW!

This is your privileged opportunity to get your hands dirty on the surface, experiencing the rigorous training regime (via our brand-new tutorial!) and proving your expendable worth by progressing up to your first major confrontation with the local unscheduled resistance.
How to Participate
Head to the ITER Steam Store Page to download the Open Playtest Demo and begin your contribution to the Undercity's survival effort. Remember, resources are scarce, and Operators are numerous. Don't let your potential go to waste!
Share Your Feedback
Besides the standard Resource Extraction and Defence protocols, your secondary objective is to provide VALUABLE FEEDBACK.

ITER Corp values efficiency. We will look to enhance our operational procedures based on your unique surface experiences (assuming your experience report isn't lost in the data void upon your inevitable demise).

Please utilise one of the following approved channels for submitting your feedback and operational insights:

Thank you for your compliance. We look forward to hearing your feedback and are excited for you to experience ITER!

Dev update: A look back (and forward!)

//Begin Transmission

Hey everyone! 👋

We just wanted to give you a little update and a look behind-the-scenes at where we're at with ITER!

Firstly, a BIG thanks to everyone who took part in our playtest last November. Your comments have been super helpful, and we'll be continuing to build our game while taking your feedback on board. Thanks, Operators! 🚀
The Great Undercity has had an upgrade...
So far this year we've been hard at work on our survival space game, and we've been having loads of fun improving features and tweaking the art. We've been experimenting with the landscape of the Undercity, giving the environment more of an out-of-this-universe feel!
A trip down memory lane!
We also thought it'd be cool to share some of the concept art and designs that we contemplated. Here's how our hard-working Operator buddy came to be:

We loved all these versions, but feel the final Operator looks humble, brave, and willing to get the job done! We also have some early concepts of the enemies that'll attack your base:

We'll share the final designs of these baddies in the near future! 🛸

In the meantime, we'll get back to building our game and making it as awesome as possible. Talk soon!
