[p]TxK Gaming Studios Is Shutting Down – Dungeon Full Dive GM Edition Will Be Free Starting August 1st[/p][p]To our community, supporters, and fellow adventurers,[/p][p]Today, we’re sharing the hardest announcement we’ve ever had to make: TxK Gaming Studios is officially shutting down.[/p][p]This is not a decision made lightly. We have spent the past months exploring every possible path forward - investment, partnerships, downsizing, alternate revenue models - but none of them were enough to secure a sustainable future for the studio. We built Dungeon Full Dive with everything we had, but the reality is that the cost of continuing as a company has become too high.[/p][p]That said, we don’t want Dungeon Full Dive to disappear.[/p][p]As a thank you to every one of you who believed in this project, Dungeon Full Dive will become completely free starting August 1st. All current features will remain accessible, and we hope the game can continue to be a home for your stories and adventures.[/p][p]The Servers Will Stay Online[/p][p]We will keep the servers online for the foreseeable future. There are no current plans to shut them down, and we’ll do everything we can to keep them running as long as possible. While there won’t be new updates (as ongoing developments have not been completed), we’re committed to ensuring you can keep playing and sharing Dungeon Full Dive with your groups.[/p][p]A Word on the Lack of Communication[/p][p]We know many of you have been waiting for updates: and we’re sorry for the silence.[/p][p]The decision not to communicate was, at least in part, a conscious one: It wasn’t because we didn’t care - it was because we were trying to protect the future of the studio. We were actively seeking external investment and were concerned that sharing our financial difficulties too openly might scare off potential partners. Balancing transparency with the need to present a strong image was incredibly difficult, and in hindsight, we recognize that some of that silence may have felt like abandonment. That was never the intention.[/p][p]At this point, we’ve accepted that the investment path is no longer an option.[/p][p]Looking Ahead[/p][p]We’re incredibly proud of what we accomplished with Dungeon Full Dive. We built something unique and ambitious: a dream that came to life because of your support, feedback, and passion. the December patch is here! After the big 0.8 Version launch, we've been closely listening to your feedback, fixing bugs, and adding improvements based on your feedback on Discord!

Here are the fixes, additions & improvements for this month's patch:

• 💾Added a new check to detect unsaved map changes when editing characters during map building:
  Players will now get a warning to save their map changes when editing characters without fear of losing their map-building progress. This new safeguard ensures your hard work on maps remains intact, even if you need to tweak your miniatures mid-session.
  
  
• 🖌️Fixed an issue causing the map brush to get stuck when switching to the character editor:
  Editing characters during map building will now behave as intended, disabling the brush inside the character editor.
  
  
• 🔊 Adjusted sound mixing for the tutorial
  Adjusted the loudness of various sound files during the tutorial mission.
  
  
• 🧟 Reintroduced the Zombie Soldier and Undead Fighter miniatures to the map builder
  Back by popular demand (or better said: fixed thanks to your reports)! The undead are once again available for all your necromantic (or apocalyptic) encounter designs.
  
  
• 🔧 Fixed a Bug where the character editor UI was sometimes not visible in VR

The character and monster sheets have received major upgrades in version 0.8!
Now, you can roll your attacks, actions, and spells with just one click—including monster actions!

Here’s how it works:

• Select your action and press "Use": The roll-to-hit is automatically calculated for you.
  
• Roll damage directly: After the to-hit roll, the result window allows you to roll damage (including automatic critical hit doubling!)
  
• Shared Results: The results are posted in the chat for your party members to see.
  

Want to cast a spell? Just press "Use" to roll it instantly!

Want to attack? Same process—just one click!

We’ve also improved all 5e monster sheets included in DFD to fully integrate with the new system. At the same time, we’re continuing to enhance DFD’s automation features so we look forward to your feedback!

With Update 0.8 we’re thrilled to release the fully voice-acted DFD onboarding experience for mouse and keyboard!

This unique onboarding process is designed to introduce new players to the game, helping them learn the ropes in a short tutorial mission. But whether you’re a first-time adventurer or simply revisiting the basics: this onboarding mission will set the stage for your journey ahead!

With the launch of the 0.8 Update, a wide variety of new features and improvements have been introduced. Here’s the full list:

• Added a new map-saving system that detects changes automatically and asks you to save Never lose your map-building progress again! This feature ensures your hard work is always saved.
  
  
• Added an option for the terrain editing tool to avoid moving assets while terraforming Trying to create an overgrown ruin look? Now you can toggle whether assets move when using the terrain brush!
  
  
• Added the ability for spells to be cast at different levels Spells now use the correct spell slots and scale the damage dice accordingly, adding more flexibility to your spellcasting!
  
  
• Added a UI indicator in the character sheet to display the cost of an action Actions, bonus actions, and reactions are now clearly labeled for easier usability during combat.

• Fixed a bug where placing one miniature would result in multiple miniatures being placed.
  
• Various UI design adjustments to improve readability and aesthetics.
  
• Fixed multiple UI overlapping issues.

• Enhanced the visuals for dice-throwing animations and display text.
  
• Added a new help button that provides explanations for the currently open screen.
  
• Fixed a bug where the possess tool displayed incorrect button descriptions.
  
• Corrected issues with monster sheets not displaying correctly or containing incorrect data.
  
• Fixed various character sheet-related issues where data was not loaded or saved properly.
