Today marks a big milestone in the journey of Dungeon Full Dive: We’ve been reading through forums, comments, reviews, direct messages, gathering all your feedback and wishes. You’ve made it clear what you want, and we've been on a mission to make it happen. So, here’s the big news we’ve all been waiting for:

[h2]🌟 DFD: Player Edition - Free for all Adventurers[/h2]
Yes, you read that right. After many weeks of testing, going through player feedback, and thinking about how to make it work: We're finally ready to unveil the DFD: Player Edition.
DFD: Player Edition is a free version of Dungeon Full Dive designed specifically for players. This edition will allow you to experience the magic of DFD, join online tabletop sessions, and embark on TTRPG adventures. And the best part? It’s absolutely free.

[h3]What's in the free Player Edition?[/h3]

• Play Online: Play TTRPG online with your friends or with people you meet online.
• Create your Character: Create your own miniatures and 5e characters.
• Build Your own Worlds: Build your own maps.
• Test GM Tools: Explore the full set of DFD’s GM tools in offline play.

[h3]What’s not available in the free Player Edition?[/h3]

• Hosting Games will be limited to the GM Edition of DFD.
• Players of the Player Edition will not be able to take on the role of the GM during online play.
• Character Creation will be limited to 3 slots while Map Building will be limited to 2 slots.

[h2]🎲 DFD becomes “DFD: Game Masters Edition”[/h2]
Simultaneously, the current version of DFD will transition into the “DFD: GM Edition” and its price will be increased from $29 to $49 once the Player Edition is released. This price change allows us to focus on enhancing the overall value of GM edition as much as possible while at the same time making DFD more accessible for groups to dive into the DFD universe together, reducing the entry cost for a party of 5 from $150 to $49.

Additionally, as a special bonus all owners of the GM edition will be given an exclusive GM dice set.

What happens if I already own Dungeon Full Dive when the Player Edition releases?
If you already own DFD prior to the release of the Player Edition, your game will automatically be upgraded to the GM Edition at no additional cost. You'll retain full access to all the features you've enjoyed, along with any new GM-specific enhancements and content introduced in the GM Edition.

Can I buy the GM Version now while it's still cheaper?
Yes, you have the opportunity to purchase the GM Edition at the current price before the Player Edition is released and the price increase takes effect. This allows you to lock in the full range of GM features and future updates at a more favorable price point.
