Welcome to the Tutorial mode!

With today's update we have added a new game mode - 'TUTORIAL'.

It is available in the main menu of the game.

In essence, this is a step-by-step mini-mission where you will go through the process of learning to work with basic tools and identifying clues to determining the type of ghost and successfully performing the exorcism.
Each step is accompanied by text recommendations - instructions on work with various items/entities.

All of this takes place in safe conditions. Nothing and no one will prevent you from fully mastering all the basic mechanics, investigation and banishment, in order to further fully apply the acquired knowledge and skills in “combat” conditions - on a mission.

We hope this will help you immerse yourself in the game more quickly and upgrade up your character faster.

As before, to learn the intricacies of the game, you can also watch video tutorials and/or discuss the game with like-minded people and developers in our Discord channel.



Update 0.0.1.10 - Advanced training and fixes for the most common crashes

Hello, community. We are pleased to present a significant update, including a detailed tutorial and fixes for the most common game crashes.

[h3]INNOVATIONS:[/h3]
  • Added the "Training" game mode with a training map, which includes training the player in basic mechanics, investigation and exorcism
  • The Exorcism Rune now lights up when the exorcism is successfully performed

[h3]CHANGES:[/h3]
  • The quest section now writes about a successfully performed Exorcism
  • When you anger a ghost during communication, this both increases the ghost's aggression and can start a Hunt
  • The rate of change of the Thermometer indicator has been significantly increased
  • Increase the volume of the personal warehouse to 200
  • Decrease the overall height of the team equipment list
  • Reduce the number of available slots for ritual candles to 4

[h3]FIXES:[/h3]
  • Fixed, if not all, then most of the cases when the eye trap could spawn "in the air"
  • Fixed the disappearance of items from the warehouse when exiting Lobby
  • Fixed the Exorcism section of the Journal
  • Fixed Crash: Situation when player trying to connect to friend's Lobby existing for some time
  • Fixed Crash: Situation occurred on a host during a match end
  • Fixed Crash: Rare crash related to lag compensation methods
  • Fixed the dynamic tool-tip for the Report Tablet item

Hotfix 0.0.1.9 - Handled crash reports

Greetings, dear community. While we are working on the extended tutorial, we are pleased to present a batch of fixes based on your feedback and the crash reports we have collected.

[h3]Crash report fixes:[/h3]
  • Disabled Wisper initialization (Speach to text recognition) when starting the game, which caused excessive load when the game was initially launched and caused a crash on weak CPUs
  • Fixed EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION Crash - error when picking up an item on the client
  • Fixed EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION Crash - error when the player leaves the Demon Eye trap area


[h3]Other fixes:[/h3]
  • Fixed disappearance and inconsistency of displayed information in the tablet with the report on the client
  • Additionally fixed Hunt after a successful exorcism
  • Fixed a situation where an invisible wall blocked fuses in front of the electrical panel when installing them
  • Fixed the text in the journal in the evidence selection section - it was "writtings" instead of "writings"
  • Fixed playback of sounds from falling objects

No more limits for the ghost requests!

The good news for most "Bureau of Contacts" players came with today's update - after weeks of monitoring, we decided to make spirit requests in the game unlimited.

No bundles.
No more limits on interaction with the ghost.
No any in-game transactions in the game, as before.

In case of any force majeure on the part of our partners, the current generative AI system automatically switches to an analog AI system to allow you to continue receiving full gaming experience.
Such a switch (if it happens) will be reflected for players in only 2 nuances:
  • the ghost’s voice will be changed;
  • the ghost will communicate with you using classic key phrases, i.e. he will talk strictly to the point.


We continue to keep our finger on the pulse and monitor the use of this component of the game to prevent any malicious actions.

Hotfix 0.0.1.8 - Limit on interactions with the ghost is completely removed

We are grateful to our caring community, which quickly helps us to find the most painful points and faster improve the game.

Your numerous feedback and several weeks of monitoring your interactions with our GenAI-driven ghost allowed us to make an important decision regarding the existing limit on the number of spiritual requests (interactions with a ghost).

With this fix, limit on interactions with the ghost is completely removed.


[h3]What does this mean for players?[/h3]

1) Players, as before, will not have to make any payments to fully enjoy the game except the only one-time payment - game price.
There are not, have not been and will not be any in-game transactions in the game.

[h3]P.S. Bonus updates[/h3]

Changes:
  • Increased the chance of turning off the light during the Hunt
  • During the hunt, it is impossible to interact with the electricity panel.


Fixes:
  • Fixed the sound of the ghost, made it quieter and increased the radius.
  • Fixed a crash with the eye trap when the player falls under its influence.
  • Fixed a crash when screaming from the ghost.
  • Fixed a bug where the Ghost does not see the player through doorways
