Throughout Phantom Squad, you’ll be deployed across a range of mission objectives in the fight against global terrorist operations.[/p][p][/p][p]We never send our agents into the field without intel, so here’s an overview of some of the mission types you’ll be facing.[/p][p][/p][p]Neutralising Hostiles[/p][p]One of the most effective ways to stop the enemy is to eliminate them. Some missions will require you to clear multiple floors of hostile forces - whether that’s silently from a distance with a suppressed weapon, or up close with a shotgun. The method is up to you. Just get it done.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Hostage Rescue[/p][p]Terrorists don’t play fair. They’ll risk innocent lives as a means to their end. At times, you’ll be charged with the safety of these hostages. Plan carefully, move fast, and aim with precision and make sure the innocents make it out alive.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Bomb Defusal [/p][p]Some enemies are willing to take themselves out if it furthers their cause. You’ll need to sweep buildings under strict time pressure and prevent detonation - not only to save lives, but to secure critical intel before it’s lost.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Prepared for all of this - and more?

In previous Dev Diaries, you may have seen references to the Assault Coordination Engine. Today, we’ll be walking through how to make best use of it to support your squad in the field.[/p][p]
When you and your team arrive at a mission site, the first thing you’ll want to do is check your A.C.E. It provides a general overview of the terrain, along with key intel from Command. This may include suspected areas of heavy enemy presence, potential bomb placements, hostage locations - and more.[/p][p]
But the A.C.E. isn’t just a map. It’s your primary planning tool.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p]Working together with your squad, you can draw routes directly onto the A.C.E., as well as use a combination of tactical icons to mark up important details. If an enemy caught you off guard and compromised your mission, it’s worth marking that location with a warning icon for future attempts.[/p][p][/p][p]The A.C.E. also integrates directly with your gadgets. Using tools like the Drone and Door Cam, you’ll be able to spot and flag enemy positions for your team - helping you either steer clear of danger or plan for a clean takedown.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Ready to lead your own Phantom Squad?
