Foundry Gauntlet rev0 - Week1 Update
The competition is heating up!
Greetings, Hard Chip players! The incredible response to Foundry Gauntlet rev0 blows me away. With nearly 1,000 solutions submitted by just 19 dedicated players, the level of creativity and optimization we're seeing is absolutely phenomenal.
Week 1 Recap
The battle for first place has been nothing short of intense! The leaderboard shuffled constantly throughout the week, with different players claiming the top spot as they refined their approaches and found new optimization angles. It's been thrilling to watch the community push each other to new heights.

Process Prime reference best solution, this one gave a hard time to many players!
Week 2: Priority Encoder Challenge
Week 2 is now live, and this week's focus is the Priority Encoder! Whether you're a returning competitor or just jumping in, there's plenty of room to make your mark.
Important note for newcomers
You can still join the Foundry Gauntlet even though Week 1 has closed! Submit your solutions and compete just like everyone else. The only difference is that Week 1 submissions won't count toward your overall event ranking anymore.

But here's the exciting part - you can absolutely compete for the Week 2 crown, or compete for metric leader! Plus, there's a strategic opportunity here: study the current leaders and identify their weak spots. Attack their solutions where their metrics are weakest and climb those weekly rankings! Special mention to the unknown metrics leader: Viminphimko!

Thank you for playing Hard Chip, and stay tuned for more exciting updates and features in the coming weeks, as I'll resume a more regular schedule of updates!
How It Works
Weekly Stages
Every Saturday at 18:00 UTC, a brand-new challenge drops. You’ll have exactly one week to build, optimize, and submit your solution before the next stage unlocks.

Progress Tracking
Visit the Leaderboard section on hardchip.io to track real-time rankings and progression bars for each stage.

Exclusive Reward
At the end of four weeks, the Top five players on the overall leaderboard will receive a special editor background to display in the editor. And the Top 3 will get a Steam key to offer to a friend!
Why Join?
Push Your Limits — Each week’s requirements ramp up in complexity, challenging creative approaches to transistor budgets and layout. This will be hard!
