Gameplay

Optimizations
  • Fixed the CPU spikes caused by the BlockLOD system
  • Switched font texture settings to prevent Font.CacheFontForText CPU spikes
  • Switched all debugging informations and windows to EditorOnly to remove corresponding CPU spikes
  • AI vehicle spawner pools vehicles to reduce allocation garbage
  • The following changes apply to all areas of the map:
    - Removed unneccessary collisions from buildings
    - Removed build in tree colliders and added simple capsule colliders where neccessary
    - Removed unneccessary scripts from scenes
    - Removed unused tree prefabs from terrains
    - Bush row collisions replaced with fast and simple boxcollisions
    - Traffic lights splitted into technical and visual part and later one integrated into BlockLOD system
