Playtest Update – Improved Onboarding & Tutorials Now Live!

[p]This new version of the playtest focuses on helping players understand Absym’s core mechanics more quickly and clearly. We’ve reworked how systems are introduced, refined tutorials, and adjusted level layouts to better support learning and flow.[/p][p]

    The introduction to core gameplay mechanics has been redesigned to be more intuitive and accessible for new players.[/p]

Open Playtest Update – Core Systems & Progression Changes Now Live!

With the launch of the Open Playtest, we’ve introduced important gameplay changes and new systems aimed at refining combat depth and helping players better track their journey through Absym.[/p][p]

Enemy Combat Changes
[/h3]
  • [p]Enemy Armor Rework
    Enemy armor has been redesigned to add a new layer of strategy.
    Armored enemies now require the use of Rift Switch to remove their armor. Without it, they will not take damage. Mastering rift mechanics is now essential to survive tougher encounters.[/p]

New Feature: Mission Log / Journal

  • [p]Mission Log Added
    A new Mission Log / Journal system has been introduced to help players keep track of:[/p]
    • [p]Main story progression[/p]
    • [p]Notes discovered during exploration[/p]
    • [p]Lore entries collected by the Rifter[/p]
    [p]This makes following the narrative and uncovering the world’s secrets clearer and more accessible.[/p]
