[p]A fresh wave of story, systems, and other upgrades has arrived in Absym. This update deepens the world’s lore while making your moment-to-moment experience clearer and more immersive.
[/p][h3]Bloodbound Court Cutscene[/h3][p]A brand-new cutscene introduces a new event at the beginning of the demo, setting the stage for what’s to come.

Community Feedback Patch – Update Now Live!

[h3]This update is all about listening to you, the players. Thanks to your detailed feedback, we’ve implemented key fixes and improvements that make Absym smoother, clearer, and more enjoyable.

Here’s what’s changed:[/h3][h3]Dialogue & Story Flow[/h3]
  • [p]🔸 The game now prevents you from interruptions like losing health or dying mid-conversation when dialogue is initiated.[/p]
  • [p]🔸 Fixed an issue where interacting with journals near chests could cause a hard-lock during dialogues.
    [/p]
[h3]Menu & Save Options[/h3]
  • [p]🔸 Pause menu now includes the option to return to the Main Menu (instead of only quitting to desktop).[/p]
  • [p]🔸 Added "New Game" and "Continue" buttons for easier save management, no more manual wiping required for demo testing. [/p]
[h3]Controls & UI Improvements[/h3]
  • [p]🔸 The Absym Shard inventory can now be closed with the same key used to open it, for more intuitive navigation.[/p]
  • [p]🔸 Improved key/button icons: less pixelated, better color coding, and clearer readability for future localization.[/p]
  • [p]🔸 Resource gain notifications (Absym Dust, Combat Knowledge, seeds, etc.) now appear on the left side of the screen, below the Absym Dust counter for improved visibility.

  • [p]🔸 Projectiles that hit non-destructible surfaces now display a vFX impact effect instead of disappearing instantly.[/p]
