The Early Access release date for Wizlite: Everybody Loved RPGs, a nostalgic RPG inspired by Wizardry, is set for December 5, 2024! The game supports both Japanese and English, with an Early Access price of $19.99 USD, which may vary slightly by region. In Japan, the expected price is 2,980 yen (tax included).
Wizlite is a nostalgic yet fresh RPG combining command-based battles with roguelite mechanics. Players form a party with multiple “adventurers” and dive into deep, multi-layered dungeons in search of treasure. Wizlite captures the classic tension of Wizardry-style RPGs, with traps, tough decisions, and resource management, but adds the fast-paced progression unique to roguelites.
Each run is designed to take about 15 minutes—but be warned, one wrong move can lead to a complete party wipe! If defeated, your adventurers’ levels reset to one, and all items gathered are lost. However, you earn “Soul Points” (SP) based on actions before defeat, which can be used for permanent upgrades. Gradually unlock more powers and aim to delve even deeper into the dungeon!
Early Access allows players to experience and shape the game during its development. Wizlite will have limitations in available dungeon floors, events, and certain features at launch, with some graphics still under refinement. Player feedback will be directly incorporated, helping us update and improve Wizlite to create a memorable RPG in the nostalgic spirit of Wizardry.
Early Access players will also gain access to the full release version when it becomes available. However, please note that save data from Early Access may not carry over to the final version.
