Branch Merge and Patch Notes #17

Hello everyone,

Today we're merging the research mode into the main branch.
Research and mixed mode are now available for all players. Free Mode has been removed as it was mostly a temporary feature while research was being worked on. We will be introducing more perks in the future for those who want to start with any specific blueprints available.

From now on we will only be pushing fixes on the Beta branch and merging back to main once a week or so, unless there's a serious bug of course.

Patch notes will slow down a bit now as our resources are being allocated mostly into fixing Performance issues, solving longer and more complex bugs and working on the Exploration Update.

Some of the next big fixes should be the sorting of stacks and the problem with the cellar not working.
We believe the Exploration Update should be ready at some point next week.

  • Merged branches.
  • Plaster now needs less clay to be crafted.
  • Snowmen now give you some snow when you destroy them.

  • Fixed a bug that was causing players to get permanent dexterity penalties.
  • Clover leafs can now repair beds.
  • Cutting fat chunks no longer erroneously costs stamina and calories.
  • Fixed a bug where a strong appleweed dose would not reduce food saturation properly.
  • Flint Spear now shows its stats when enchanted.
  • Healing Ointment can now be put inside Clay Jars.
  • Large Cloth no longer makes you wet all the time.
  • Plants are now more resistant to dehydration.
  • Fixed a bug that was preventing leaks from the waterskin.

Here are the patch notes for today. :)

  • Appleweed now reduces stew saturation.
  • Updated some enclosure art that was wrongly using mud hut art.
  • Cauldron now appears in the water filter.
  • Increased shelf life for cooked vegetables.
  • Fish Scrap, Needle and Hook stacks can now be unstacked.
  • Spear Carrier is now appearing in the research list.
  • Fixed a bug in research mode that was causing blessings not to unlock.
  • Reduced requirements to unlock enchantments and summonings in research mode.
  • Added an additional slot to clay bowls.
  • Bug report hotkey is now F2 instead of F1.
  • Fixed a bug where completing subquests in mixed mode would automatically start their parent quest.

Patch Notes #14 and Bug Report System

Hello everyone!

Today we've added a new bug report system.
This should help us get more of your bugs and fix them faster.
And it should especially help with bugs from people that have no access to discord or the steam forums.
You can access the bug report form from the in-game menu or by pressing F1!

And here are the patch notes:

  • Added the bug report form.
  • Eggs stacks are toggleable now.
  • Fixed a bug that was making you travel from the flooded grove to the flooded grove.
  • Added all bugs to the food filter.

Hello all!

Here are the patch notes for today:

[h2]Version EA_0.18:[/h2]

  • Improvements to the Cauldron (adding ingredients now takes 3 mins, quality now increases over time and decreases when you add new food)
  • Two new stats called dexterity and movement penalty have now been added so that it's now much easier to track action penalties and their sources.
  • Snow should no longer be visible in indoor locations.
  • Fixed a bug that was stopping you from travelling North East from the flooded grove.
  • Hand Baskets now get crafted with proper quality.
  • Fixed some incorrect messages in the Combat log.
  • Moved the Smokehouse Blueprint to Survival Fire tab.
  • Small Cloth no longer interacts with Containers like Baskets.
  • Carcasses now properly add Discomfort in the area they are in.
  • Tweaked blueprints research durations.
