Update Announcement for "Westward Brawl" on September 6

[p]Hello, fellow Westward travelers![/p][p]The game is scheduled for a version update on Saturday, September 6, at 11:00 AM (Beijing Time).[/p][p]Two hours before the update (from 9:00 to 11:00 AM), we will perform server adjustments, during which players will be unable to log into the game. After 11:00 AM, you can download the new version and enjoy the game as usual.[/p][p]This update includes the following:[/p]
  • [p]Removal of the "除秽 (Sweeping Star)" effect in Ranked Mode, replaced with three new random effects[/p]
  • [p]A new boss level in Story Mode, allowing players to randomly select starting characters; the game no longer ends after 10 wins—instead, a boss battle awaits at Round 20[/p]
  • [p]Adjustments to the values and effects of certain card skills[/p]
  • [p]New in-game background skin: "Red Light Lake"[/p]
  • [p]Fix for an occasional character misplacement issue after battles[/p]

June 11th Update

Adjusted Xiao Jiang's story difficulty from Normal + Challenge to Tutorial + Normal, lowering the entry barrier.

Set the maximum bonus increase per item to 50.

The game will now synchronize Steam achievement information every time it launches to prevent achievements not being granted due to network issues.

Fixed an issue where the Star Stick's effect might not trigger when Yan Luo was present on the field.

Fixed an issue where Purple Snake might not take effect during battles.

Fixed an issue where eating peanuts in a Broom Game round could potentially result in negative character attributes.

Fixed an issue where the Qi Refining Sect's connectivity arrows did not refresh immediately after repositioning characters.

June 7th Update

Optimize the matchmaking logic:
In Ranked Mode, players will not be matched with themselves.
Players will not be matched against the same player ID in two consecutive rounds.

Fix the issue where the gold spent per round did not account for the gold spent selling Brooms.

Fix the issue where the Phoenix could not be refreshed/drawn.

Fix the issue causing game errors when pressing ESC to quit the match during the round end phase.

To address the issue where some players frequently experience freezes at the end of turns:
This appears related to recent match saves. While the modification may affect recent match saves, it will not block the game flow.
