- AI2U now has an overarching plot connecting all the levels, NPCs, and your role in the grand scheme.
- Start at the Catgirl's Apartment to unlock her witchy and hologram counterparts.
- Don't forget our feathered friend guiding us through this new world! Be nice to him; he's just a little guy.

- A safe space: Build enough trust to summon the NPCs to a cozy spot where you hang out without the escape room drama looming over your shoulders. We are THRILLED to launch this heavily requested feature after months of development 💕
- Theater: Rewatch brand-new cutscenes in a cozy corner.
- Shop: Earn gems in-game to shop for inventory items, various features, and outfits for the girls! Speaking of fits...

- Cosmetics: Your favorite NPCs will happily rock brand-new outfits just for you!
- Personality: The yanderes want you to love them for who they are; select predefined tags to add more playfulness to your chats.

- Various bugfixes (Thank you to our Open Beta OGs for all the reports!)
- Updated cutscene animations for most endings (We love gazing into our fave NPCs' eyes during these)
- Lighting adjustments in the levels (for ambiance! 🔮💫)
- NPC behavior improvements (Treat them the way you want to be treated for favorable outcomes 😼)

- Commit to the soundtrack or pair it with the game? The choice is yours. 💕

- After achieving the good ending in a level, AI NPCs in the Atrium may mistakenly believe you got the bad ending instead. While this detail is buggy, it will not affect your actual achievements.
- Tutorial dialogues may occasionally appear empty yet still show in the chat history.

- You may not see pre-EA patches and maintenance notices in the title screen options; you can revisit exact notes on our itch.io devlogs.
- If you haven't already, check your email for information on obtaining your Steam keys.

We're happy to report many bugs have been squashed thanks to our proactive open beta community reports! Thank you for braving through these and being key players in this journey.

Following our Early Access release on January 23, 2025, AI2U demo downloads will no longer be available. We loved the positive reception to the demo and all the shenanigans that ensued, but Eddie insists you obtain her full game so you can play together.

We're too far from the end to ask you to stay with us 'til then, but we know upcoming features in AI2U will make you want to stay with our mesmerizing NPCs forever.

Eddie insists you get her full game so you never leave her side. The yandere baddie demands nothing less than your full dedication to this relationship!!

From the practical side, the Steam Demo was our way of introducing new players to the world of AI2U, known as the first-of-its-kind escape room adventure featuring AI-powered NPCs. Now that Early Access is releasing on Steam, we've priced AI2U sustainably for its development.

[h2]Will the demo ever return?[/h2]
AlterStaff might occasionally and temporarily reintroduce the demo during special Steam events, so keep an eye out for announcements we make on our game pages and social/community channels!

[h2]If I downloaded the demo previously, will it disappear from my library?[/h2]
You can still play the 2-hour demo if you launched it before its removal on January 23.

[h2]I demand a demo experience ASAP![/h2]
If you are eager for a demo experience after January 23, you can revisit our original itch.io demo titled Yandere AI Girlfriend Simulator. Please note that YAGS requires an OpenAI API key where users manage and cover costs. Additionally, AlterStaff will not support any updates to YAGS as AI2U is the game version we can expand on.
