Pinhead Adventures The Zino Major Patch 0.5.0


The Zino is available to play now! Enjoy the sights from Zortan's own personal gaming casino! Full with mystery and wonder, what will you win?!
We also launch our demo today as well! Enjoy a free version of The Zino, where Pinhead and Orbo crash on the Zino's landing platform, stranded for all time in the epic trial version of Pinhead Adventures!



The Pinhead
Amber hearts have an extra sound effect when used
Amber heart buff lasts 13 seconds from 10
When the Laser Sight is aquired and weapons are out, enemy lock on range is increased by 50% (50m -> 75m)
Added an animation for interacting with Orbo and buttons while carrying
Fixed some data that wasn't saving correctly for the pinhead
Jumping sends the pinhead to a minimum height above geometry now

The Pinship
The ship shield will be correctly removed when starting a new game if it was acquired on save 1

Vending Machine
New Mesh and Animations
No longer sells explosive barrels
New interaction logic
New song plays when near

Incinerator
Slight rework in function, will now build up value until closed, then will burn all objects inside
New, smaller Mesh

Estoria
Fixed the Blue Statues properties
Blue Statue Incineration cost lowered 750 -> 500
Updated some geometry around the map
Added FoV Zooms to the top of Estoria Towers by the buttons

Lil Green
Gravity has been decreased from -700 to -600
Underground Substation now controls the Doors, lights, and Orbo Cell gate directly
The Super Self Serve 2nd floor can now be hacked into for early access to the upgrade station.
Updated some geometry around the map
Adjusted color grading
Fixed an issue causing the final shield button to not activate properly
(Save loading will correct if it continues)

Big Purp
Gravity has been increased from -700 to -800
Fixed the camera when crashing on Big Purp
Updated some geometry around the map
Updated lighting
Adjusted color grading
Fixed Big Purp's level completion being 1/3 of what it should have been
The shields for The Book will no longer be sometimes pressed upon entering big purp
Fixed a calculation error for Zortan's Return while on Big Purp
Fixed a misconfigured button on Big Purp

Space
Added missing machine/important items to the level select UI
Updated Lil Green and The Zino models
Adjusted entry and exit points

Hardlight Shields
Will now become invisible when they are finished scaling
New sound has been added for powering on and off

Super Self Serve Stores on Estoria, Lil Green, Big Purp
Extra store slots removed
Now sells explosive barrels
A Static Vending Machine has been added
Now plays a song while near

General
Explosive Barrels now have a short fuse when hitting spitter nests
2 More statues have been added to each level, bringing the total count to 15 per level
New sound for Statue Shields
Batteries now spawn more
Fixed cameras not tracking correctly during the first second of a sequence

Buttons play a sound when powered or enabled

Patch 0.4.7 Hotfix

Buttons will no longer randomly trigger after a save load

Some supporting programming for The ZIno Update

Revamped Patch 0.4.7

This time for real! We are now looking towards the release of the Zino in the coming weeks. This will most likely be the final update for Revamped.

General
The reticle will turn purple anytime Orbo is teleporting
Tough boxes, televisions, umbrellas, and more have had their weight/throwing parameters adjusted
Fixed the player fizzling every killed enemy after destroying a spiker nest with an eplosive or fully charged shot
The player will no longer activate fizzle recharges by default
Fizzle recharges can now only happen after obtaining the Hardlight Redirector
Changed the Hl-Reflector to HL-Redirector and updated it's description
The reticle will now turn purple whenever Orbo is teleporting
Empty Dark Matter cells that were created by Orbo can now be properly incinerated for 35 coins

Lil Green
The lab entry has been fixed

Nests
Large nests will only spawn enemies from unbroken parts

Item Scanner
The screen on the Item Scanner will now show some info, if a scan is ready, how many objects were found, etc
All scanned objects will have an icon showing what the item is
The markers will now stay visible forever instead of 90 seconds
Upon getting close enough to a marker, it will then be removed until another scan is completed
The scanner will now bring the camera close when standing infront of the button
Pressing the button multiple times without moving now works more consistantly
Updated sounds for scanning, new sounds for scanning while held by orbo

When placed into an inventory slot, all of the markers will be hidden unless you are close to orbo
Upon opening orbo's inventory, the scanner will be triggered, updating any markers
Interacting with orbo while he is presenting will also manually trigger a scan

Pinhead Adventures Revamped Patch 0.4.6

Pinhead
Some animation jank has been smoothed out
Money Magnet sound has been changed and lowered

Nests
Large Nests spawn rates have been adjusted. Spiker Nests spawn every 120 seconds. Swooper Nests now every 90 seconds. Spitter nests remain unchanged

Lil Green
Lab has been updated, should lead to better performance while in area
Statues underground are now activated from the substation earlier

General
All physics items have had their defaults for cost, and weight adjusted. Throwing damage now triggers earlier on most things
All weight plates have had their required weights adjusted
Each world will now spawn a World key when mostly completed. These are for use while at The Zino
All hardlight gates now have stairs leading up to them
Enemies have scaling vunerability
Spiker will scale from 1.5 seconds to 3 seconds of damage protection, from max to 0 hp
Spitter will scale from 2 seconds to 4 seconds of damage protection, from max to 0 hp
Swooper will scale from 1 seconds to 2 seconds of damage protection, from max to 0 hp
Large Nests can now have their spawn times reduce over time, over the course of 3 hours

Revamped 0.4.5

Pinhead and Orbo
Now have colored faces!
Tapping the dive button does a hop, holding dive now starts the slide
Fixed a bug causing the in air mode to jitter after being in the air for longer then 3 seconds
Fixed the damage from a fully charged single shot with the overcharger dealing the same damage as a fully charged explosive shot
Added an effect to the personal shield that triggers when hit by an overcharger explosion
Added a overcharged effect to overcharged gun shots and explosions
The gun will now start discharged upon crash landing
The Incineration Orbo Slot will no longer shrink or incinerate the player
The Incineration Orbo Slot will no longer move into orbo when coins are dropped
The Incineration Orbo Slot will now have the Incinerator coin display above it
The Ship Shield Generator is no longer incinerable

Lil Green
All the buttons at the substations now have signage indicating what they are for
Houses and buildings have been numbered/named

Big Purp
More of the puzzles have chances to be pre completed
Enemy nest locations adjusted
Some areas have been slightly reworked
There are less large nests inside the facility, but more single enemy spawns
Fixed the dark matter in the lab

Nests
Large nests will now spawn from each available part of the nest
Lowered the damage dealt by the gun to the weak point of the spiker nests

General
Vending Machine, Portable Upgrade Station, and The Book have had their Fov and Camera distance targets adjusted
Fixed Hardlight pickup collision for the Item Scanner and the Incinerator
Upgrade station and and Vending machine FoV triggers are now turned off when they don't have hardlight
Any completed objectives that are visible from space on Timeline 1 when the game is launched will no longer appear in the new timeline start sequence
Enemies will now have their animations paused if their location isn't on screen while they are roaming
The scroll box in the sound attributions menu will now start to scroll automatically after 5 seconds. Will loop back to the top after 7 seconds.
