WORKING ON UPDATE 14
Thank you all so much for staying active in Doll Impostor! We are continuing to develop this game! The next update brings some new features to add more content!

There will be a new feature called Contracts — these are papers that give you 3 missions at a time. Taking these contracts will cost you an initial fee, and you’ll have a time limit to complete them. If you fail, you'll get penalized financially; if you succeed, you can claim the contract reward.
It’s similar to daily challenges but gives you 3 objectives to complete within a limited time. You’ll need to wait for new contracts to refresh. For example, it might ask you to complete the House map in Nightmare mode and reward you for it. Each completed contract will be stored and displayed publicly in your lobby, showing your total number of finished contracts.
Some new features will be added, such as lights occasionally going out, forcing you to go and turn them back on. (You'll need to buy multiple fuses.)
The Book of Souls will no longer give all the clues, only some of them, making it harder to get the correct answer.
The Cabin map will be adapted for Career Mode!
A ranked Matchmaking system will be added. You’ll be able to play asynchronous 1vs1 matches against other players. The winner is the one who completes the case in the least amount of time.
This idea came from the cancelled tournament, after which players began playing 1vs1 matches and found them interesting. This new feature will allow for competition among veterans. There will also be a podium and global ranking similar to the leaderboards, but specifically for 1vs1 matches.
The robot will gain sound perception — if you talk or activate anything noisy, it will go check it out again.
"Doll Impostor: Free Sample" will be released — a very lightweight version of the game including only the House map, the Shelter, and Classic mode. The goal of this Free Sample is to attract new players, and it will be released on Steam as a separate free game.
EDIT: Doll Impostor: Free Sample is a standalone free version designed to attract new players, since Steam gives more visibility to new releases than to demos or updates.
Some troll quotes will be added to the signatures. A notification will appear telling you to shake the mouse to reveal photos in Career mode. Kisses in Career will be adjusted so they don’t disappear at long distances. Scroll functionality will be added using the right analog stick on gamepads.
Finally, a new game will be launched alongside this update called *Doll Impostor: Quality Check*. Your goal will be to evaluate Doll Impostor assets — dolls, boxes, objects, etc. You’ll validate whether everything works correctly based on difficulty or needs adjustments. The game will cost around $4.99 and will include a customizer and all the latest Doll Impostor content synced with it.
Once development is complete, it will be on Steam for 1 month before going on sale. And when development is finished, Update 14 will officially be complete!
EDIT: A new standalone game will also be released: Doll Impostor: Quality Check. This is not a beta version of the main game, but a completely different experience set in the same universe. In this game, you’ll take on the role of a quality control inspector on a production line, reviewing dolls, boxes, and items from the main game. Your job is to detect errors — for example, if a doll like Ivy from the House map arrives in a circus-themed box, you'll need to identify the mismatch. You'll analyze packaging, scan barcodes, and ensure each item meets the correct standards. This game includes a customizer and stays updated with new content from the main game. It will be available on Steam for around $4.99.
