Halloween Update hotfix patch 1

[/p][p]Thank you to everyone who has already checked out our big new Halloween update and provided helpful feedback! Today we've released a small hotfix patch with a few quick fixes.

We are continuing to look at all reports closely and investigating other issues, and will provide another fix and improvement patch next week.

TODAY'S BUG FIXES:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the Space Madness chapter suddenly being inaccessible,[/p]
  • [p]In Classic Mode, fixed the chapter headers on the Chapter Select Screen sometimes being mismatched,[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the background/environment art having its position shifted unintentionally on Summer Slaycation and Space Madness[/p]

Minor Unity security vulnerability patch

Hey Baddies,

We received notice from Unity (the makers of our game engine) that all games built in a specific version of their editor contained a newly discovered security vulnerability. Unity provided developers a patch to correct this vulnerability, and we have included that fix in this minor update.

We've also been busy with a large Castle Doombad content update that's coming soon, so please keep an eye out.

New Patch! Menu Scaling, Adjustments, and Bug Fixes

Today's patch brings some small visual and stability improvements to the game. Please read below to see the changes, and keep an eye out for some big surprises coming soon!

WHAT'S NEW:[/p]
  • [p]We have decreased the scaling of the game's menus and GUI on both tablets and the Steam version, as they appeared overly large on bigger screens. On the Steam version, we have also added a setting where you can change the menu and interface scaling yourself.[/p]
  • [p]We have zoomed out the in-game camera somewhat on tablets and the Steam version, so that you can now see more of the castle at once while playing on bigger screens.[/p]
[p]BUG FIXES:[/p]
  • [p]The "More Roomkin" Baddie Bonus now stacks properly when two or more Spoils with it are equipped at the same time[/p]
  • [p]Fixed being able to see underneath the ground/game world in Chapter 1 when using the Giant Boulder of Doom[/p]
  • [p]Evilstein now responds with a more appropriate scolding message when trrying to place a trap on the same tile as a junk pile[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Fixed the new Day 7 "Blackstone" reward in the Daily Login screen not unlocking retroactively for some players who had progressed past the associated week before downloading the previous patch[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Fixed an error that would sometimes occur after shields were eaten by the Slimy Tentacles[/p]

NEW TRAP: The Axe-o-Matic is here!

WHAT'S NEW: [/p]
  • [p]The Axe-o-Matic has arrived! This new trap is our first "Hybrid" trap. It can be manually-aimed after placement, but then proceeds to fire automatically. This is the game's 32nd tarp, and you'll find it in the Auto Traps section. New Reskins have also been added for the Axe-o-Matic.

  • [p]Added our 40th achievement: "Axpertise"[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]New unique "Day 7" Daily Login Rewards have been added after Login Week 4![/p][p][/p]
  • [p]We have updated the look of Hero and Trap health bars in the game, and for the first time we've added health bars for Hero Shields. New options to toggle these off have also been added ot the settings screen.[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Updated the "Mental Reset" Baddie Bonus fx and audio to be more noticeable when the effect triggers[/p][p][/p]
[p] BUG FIXES: [/p]
  • [p]Fixed a math error causing the "Reach Wave 5 in 6 Minutes" scheme in Roguevenge to accidentally require a time of 5 minutes instead of 6[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue causing the "Basic Badness II" Baddie Bonus to sometimes not function[/p][p] [/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue involving multiple stat-modifying Baddie Bonuses equipped simultaneously not stacking/working together in certain conditions[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Fixed a calculation issue with the completion % total for the Summer of Slays Event[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the "Not Enough Currency" pop-up would sometimes be blank/ not include its intended content[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]On the Steam version, fixed the "R" keyboard key so it once again toggles the Recycling Bin[/p]
