[p]After 5 years of development, I’m so excited to announce that Yuma Nest is now available on Steam Early Access![/p][p]
[dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]I started developing this game just messing around with ideas I thought would be cool to see in an RPG, and making dumb videos showing my experiments. Over time, I refined all those ideas into something I believe is a truly unique game. It’s the game I’ve always dreamed of playing myself, and I hope many of you can find the same joy in it.[/p][p][/p][p]Yuma Nest is quite a unique mix of genres, being an open-world action RPG, but also including building and automation. There are plenty of systems that can interact, and I hope you enjoy experimenting with them yourself! There are also plenty of ways to progress. You can choose to do a more manual grind, or focus on building, and allowing your structures to gather materials and money for you while you go hunt down some Elite Monsters![/p][p] [/p][p]I’ve also added another batch of custom cosmetic items that you can obtain from the in-game Gacha machine! You’ll obtain Yuma Coins to spend at the Gacha machine by completing assignments and missions![/p][p]
[/p][p]I’ll be continuing to add more cosmetic items as submissions come in from the Kickstarter backers.[/p][p][/p][p]Yuma Nest is currently playable through one overworld region and one underworld region, including 5 boss battles. The Palea region is also explorable, and this is where you might choose to spend your end-game for now! The next major updates will focus on expanding the Palea region with more monsters and a new set of automation structures! [/p][p][/p][p]The first couple of updates will focus on balancing, bug fixes, and QoL changes. After that, the major updates will expand upon the main content of the game![/p][p][/p][p]The current most difficult task in Yuma Nest is to obtain a Clown Belt. I’m curious how long it’ll take before we see the first Clown Belt drop. Let me know if you find it! [/p][p][/p][p]Detailed roadmap coming soon! [/p][p]The demo for Yuma Nest is participating in Steam Next Fest, and you can play it right now!
[/p][p]I'll be focused on working to get the full game ready for the Early Access release on March 11.
[/p][p]I hope you enjoy the demo for now. It's a restricted version of the full game, and your progress will carry over to the full game! Once you complete the demo, you can continue to play it for as long as you'd like, but the game will not save your progress after the demo content is completed. This is so that your progression doesn't get messed up when you continue in the full game, since certain aspects of progression are unavailable in the demo.
