Concerning Onigiri Refunds Through Steam ②

Greetings from the Onigiri Service Team.

This notice concerns the matter of unintentional refunds processed through Steam from the end of 2021 until January 2022.

[h3]◆Regarding the Refunds[/h3]
Beginning approximately from November 2021, unauthorized refunds have been processed to some Onigiri players due to an unauthorized external access. Credits have been refunded to affected players' Steam wallets.
This issue is currently being resolved.

[h3]◆Regarding Refunded Steam Credits[/h3]
We strongly recommend players use the refunded credits to purchase Onigiri Coins in the same amount as refunded.

Players who have had Credits refunded to their Steam wallets may not be able to use some services, such as purchases in the Shopping Plaza or stamina recovery with Onigiri Coins. By repurchasing Onigiri Coins, the aforementioned problems can be resolved.

[h3]◆Regarding Negative In-Game Balances[/h3]
Players who have received unintentional refunds may have a negative balance reflecting the amount refunded in their in-game account.
We can also confirm some players' balances have not become negative yet, but Onigiri Coin should be substracted from their in-game account balance soon.

While it is possible to play with a negative Onigiri Coin balance, certain functions such as making purchases in the Shopping Plaza or recovering energy with Onigiri Coins will not be available with a negative balance. This is why we strongly recommend players to use the refunded credits to repurchase Onigiri Coins.

[h3]◆Points of Caution[/h3]
・The event does not mean that the Steam version of Onigiri will have its service halted. The Onigiri service team will continue to provide service to the steam version.
・The negative balance of Onigiri Coins displayed directly correlates to the amount of the refund processed.
・There is no penalty from Steam for using the refunded credits.
