The new in-game crafting system became available after the yesterday’s update. In short, it is a reward system based on the simple principle of card exchange. While participating in various game activities, the player will receive cards and, upon collecting the necessary set, exchange them for cool weapons.
We have already provided information on it before, so today we want to expand on it and answer the hottest questions as well as to make this particular article the central hub for all things related to crafting.

THE CONCEPT OF CRAFTINGCrafting is a long-term activity in which players will be able to gain unique items by investing only their effort, not real money. We do not expect that the progress will be quick. The system implies quite a long resource accumulation, during weeks and months, rather than days. Therefore, a slow card collection is part of the plan.
At the first stage, it is essential to fine-tune the system. So we will monitor card receipt, analyse player categories - those who have lots of resources and those who lack them, and make timely adjustments preventing weapons and cards from losing their value. Naturally, the general figures had been modeled; but in real life, many things may differ from the model, and it is important to take them into account.
A distinctive feature of this system is that card acquisition is not limited to the game process as such: they will be distributed on social platforms, during contests and in other interesting ways.
WAYS OF OBTAINING CARDSIn a way, crafting is of a seasonal nature. Each new weapon series will correspond to a certain activity type for those players who would like to add new craftable items to their collections.
For example, participation in Ranked Matches is the main way of obtaining cards for the current weapon line-up: Cobalt Kinetics. The arms perfectly fit fights against other users and first of all will be interesting for PvP players. In the future, we will add other guns that will have their particular ways of acquisition, different from those of the present series.
Possible ways of obtaining cards:
- right here for free (while the stock lasts)
- as a log-in reward
- for Special Operations
- for Ranked Matches
- via in-game events
- in social network competitions
- by purchasing free cards in the game shop
The shop item just provides an opportunity to buy a couple of cards if the necessary amount is almost collected and you are dying to get the gun here and now; therefore, it is quite expensive.
FUTURE PLANS FOR THE SYSTEMAs for the long-term plans (for a month or more), we are considering the possibility of adding Crown Random Boxes with cards, as well as introducing cards as additional rewards for the existing events and activities if the system balance requires such adjustments.
