PvE Rewards Compensation Delivered



Friends!

During the "Challenge" event, you could have faced inconveniences when some of the rewards (Crowns, XP, WF$ and crafting cards) could not be delivered fully or partly. The event will end soon and, unfortunately, we will not have time to fix it. We will take into account this case in future events, but for now, we want to apologize for any inconvenience and give you a bonus.

UPD: THE COMPENSATION HAS BEEN DELIVERED.

Who will receive bonus:

Players who had logged into the game between 00:00 UTC (02:00 CEST) on April 12th and 23:59 UTC (01:59 CEST) on April 16th.

The bonus includes:

  • Mega VIP Booster (7 d.);
  • Mastery Booster (3 d.);
  • 3,000 Crowns;
  • 500 Black Market Coins (event currency).


The first three items will be sent to your Inventory on the "Services" page. The currency of the event will be delivered directly into the game for all the characters in the profile. The items will be delivered before the end of the event so you will have time to use the bonus. Delivery process will start later — we will inform you when it ends.

A hotfix has been installed on the game servers. In it, we've changed contracts for parts, tweaked the "Challenge" event, and fixed some critical bugs from the previous versions.

[h3]Contracts for parts[/h3]
We've analysed your feedback, looked at the task completion statistic, and decided to merge the existing contracts into one while maintaining the amount of simultaneous tasks and their availability in PvE (previously, only one of the contracts could be completed in PvE), as well as make the tasks themselves easier. Here's a breakdown:

  • The tasks have changed:
    • now, the list of available stages is always the same;
    • the progress of all tasks is counted simultaneously, and you can redo it later after it's already been done;
    • there are no more gameplay related tasks (eliminations in sliding, jumping, with grenades or melee weapons, or such);
    • now, the tasks are related to regular play, meaning whatever you do during the match (dealing damage, eliminating enemies, competing sessions).
  • The overall amount of parts you get for completing the entire contract is 400: 50 parts for each task and 250 for completing them all.
  • The amount of quests for full completion has been reduced — previously, you needed to complete an average of 8 tasks, now there are only 3.


[h3]Other[/h3]
  • "Challenge" event:
    • the time to connect to a started match in Team Gun Game has been reduced to 3 minutes (used to be 7);
    • the cards for weapons that have already been collected no longer show up in the showcase.
  • Log-in streak:
    • The log-in streak rewards have been updated. Now you will get resurrection coins, Crowns, an H&K MG5 121 box and a VIP-Booster for logging in daily.

  • Smoke grenade (Virtue skin): fixed a bug, due to which the player could see flickering visual artefacts during the game after using the grenade.
  • Fixed a bug, due to which it was impossible to start the voting to kick a player out.
  • Heist SO: fixed a bug, due to which the effects of shots, plasma cutter, and other gameplay elements could be displayed incorrectly and cause visual artefacts.

[h3]Weapons and gear[/h3]
  • Execrated H&K G36 Assault: fixed a bug, due to which the weapon would not be displayed in the 3rd person view when using a hybrid sight, the shooting sounds would also disappear.

  • Fixed a bug, due to which some weapon charms had issues with visual effects.

"My Items" is closed

Previously, we notified you notified you about the upcoming deactivation of the "My Items" section on the website and warned about the necessity of transferring the items to the game. Today the "My Items" section has been deactivated. For some time, the page and its features may be up, but soon it will become unavailable, and links to the page will be removed from the website sections.

"MY ITEMS" IS NOW DEACTIVATED!

[h3][h2]Will items be transferred to "Services"?[/h2][/h3]

Yes. We will transfer all permanent items (with and without repairs) and achievements. Any other items (for example, piece items or consumables) will not be transferred. The transfer process will begin after April 19 and will take time. Articles will not be transferred immediately.

MY.GAMES will Relaunch Warface under an Alternative Name



Friends!

You and our team have stuck together during the project's entire development, today Warface has over 120 million registered users worldwide, and we couldn't be more grateful. Which is why we want to continue developing the game in a way that aligns with our vision and enhances the experiences of our community.

[h3]What's happening?[/h3]

Towards the end of 2022, MY.GAMES declared a business restructuring process following its decision to exit from the Russian market. As per this strategy, MY.GAMES will relaunch the console and PC versions of the game as a separate product with an alternative name. Meanwhile, the PC-version of the game for Russian players will retain the name Warface, and its further development and publishing will be carried out by another company called Astrum Entertainment.

[h3]How will this affect the game?[/h3]

The new MY.GAMES title — which will start out with the existing Warface version and user profiles — will contain its own roadmap, direction, updates, and unique regional content, including new maps, weapon series, events and more! Our teams are dedicated to not only continuing to support the game, but to iterate, and innovate the project to uphold and continue its remarkable legacy.

We're excited to develop our renewed title from this amazing beginning point, and we're looking forward to providing you, our players, with a lot of interesting content this year.

Soon: Changes in Parts Contracts

Regular parts contracts will soon be reworked in the game. We've studied your feedback, analyzed the statistics of completed tasks and decided to merge them into one contract, retaining the number of simultaneously completed tasks and availability in PvE (previously, only one of the contracts could be done in PvE), as well as making the tasks easier. We describe the changes below.

[h2]New Conditions[/h2]

  • Tweaks to the tasks:
    - now the list of available task conditions is always the same;
    - the progress of all the tasks is counted simultaneously, and it is possible to repeat the task after completion;
    - there are no more tasks that are related to gameplay (eliminations while sliding, jumping, using grenades or melee weapons, etc.);
    - now tasks are done by just playing — you need to perform actions you already do during the match (dealing damage, eliminating opponents, ending sessions).
  • After the completion of the contract you will receive 400 parts: 50 parts for each task and 250 after completion of all the tasks.
  • We've reduced the number of tasks that need to be completed to finish the contract. Previously, contracts required more than 8 tasks to be completed on average, now there are only 3 tasks.
