On March 28, we installed the seasonal update "Legends". After that, together with you, we encountered technical difficulties when starting the game. Throughout the day, the project team was looking for a solution. We tried different options and, by the evening, we managed to stabilize the situation.

Now there are no problems when entering the game. You can update the client and continue exploring Warface. We understand that you had to deal with the inconvenience and a negative impression from the start of the season.

The bonus will be granted to all players who tried to log into the game (even if they failed due to the issues) starting from 00:00 UTC (02:00 CEST) on March 27 until 23:59 UTC on March 29 (01:59 CEST on March 30).

The seasonal update "Legends" is filled with familiar activities. In this publication, we share what activities you can participate in in the upcoming months, and what rewards you can get for the efforts.

The Battle Pass "Legends" will be active until May 28th 2023. Know your own strength and aim for this date as the season is unlikely to be prolonged.

This season, we've decided to launch a new one with minimal changes. Items in the BP shop and progression rewards have been updated, while the daily mission system and class-specific contracts remained unchanged.

The Battle Pass offers several types of rewards:

• for the main progression (camos, weapon charms, permanent secondary weapons, achievements, consumables, and currency);
  
• for the additional progression (BP coins);
  
• for daily and class-specific contracts (a seasonal weapon box for the former, and BP coins and a cool class achievement for the latter);
  
• weapons and parts in the seasonal shop line-up.
  

To get all the seasonal BP shop weapons, you will have to complete 4 class-specific contracts. One contract yields enough BP coins to buy one permanent weapon. There is a restriction: the contracts are only available from the 15th BP level for the owners of premium access of any type.

And if you want to also earn parts, then be active and unlock additional BP levels. The more you unlock, the more rewards you can buy from the seasonal shop. It is also worth mentioning, that if you wish to first buy some parts and then purchase guns, it is also possible.

So, to get the most out of the BP, you need to play actively and regularly, complete daily quests and contracts, but to get the bare minimum it is sufficient to unlock the basic progression levels.

[h2]More About the Rewards[/h2]
Find the "Survivor" and the "Undead" weapon series in this Battle Pass, as well as thematic weapon charms and achievements. Let's take a closer look!

[h3]"Survivor" Series[/h3]
The "Survivor" series includes the AK Alpha, Typhoon F12, Kriss Super V Custom, CDX-MC Kraken, Mateba Autorevolver, and a Cleaver. These guns can also be upgraded through the modification system (except for the Mateba Autorevolver and the Cleaver — they don't have mods).

[h3]"Undead" Series[/h3]
In the "Undead" series, you can find the SA Hellion, IMBEL IA2 Assault, Benelli M2 SP, VEPR VPO-X3, Vigilance Rifles A-M20, SIG 552 Commando, Mauser Kar98k, Barrett M82A1, Mauser C96 Custom, Makarov Pistol, and the Black Hawk. The series itself is a reference to the legendary "Cyber Horde" special operation. Its fans would surely appreciate it!

[h2]New Charms and Achievements[/h2]
Progression levels remained unchanged. The basic progression chain consists of 25 levels, the additional one consists of 175 (200 levels in total).

As for progression rewards, the system remains familiar: for the main levels, you'll receive achievements, charms, skins and two additional weapons (a cleaver and a pistol), for additional levels - coins for purchases in the Battle Pass store.

[h2]Battle Pass Coins[/h2]
This is the main currency of the Battle Pass that you can spend in the seasonal shop. There are two ways of earning the BP coins:

• by completing daily and class-specific contracts;
  
• by unlocking the additional progression levels.
  

As we've mentioned before, one fully completed contract yields enough coins to buy some parts or one permanent weapon from the seasonal shop. If you complete all contracts and unlock every additional level you can buy out the entire shop line-up. Remember: the BP coins expire by the end of the season and will not be transferred to the next.

This season's shop line-up offers two types of rewards: parts that you can get of up to 10,000 pcs., and powerful guns with mod slots from the "Undesad" series. The series includes the SA Hellion assault rifle, the Benelli M2 SP rifle, the Vigilance Rifles A-M20 machine gun, and the Barrett M82A1 sniper rifle.

Both temporary and permanent weapon versions can be obtained with coins in the shop. Parts are sold in batches. All unspent BP coins will expire by the end of the season and will not be transferred to the next. Keep that in mind and try to use them all up!

To get permanent weapons, you would need to consequently purchase the preceding temporary versions: the ones for 3, 5, 7, and 9 days (costing 25/50/75/125 BP coins accordingly), the permanent version costs 175 coins, making the overall price for the permanent gun 450 BP coins.

The "Legends" prestige season will be active until June 14th 2023.

Prestige levels are additional levels (from the 101st to the 1000th) in the progression system that you can unlock as long as the seasonal activity is on. Progressing through the prestige levels is the same as with the regular levels: you play and gain XP for every battle. The only difference is that prestige levels require more XP and are reset each season.

Changes that took place this seasson:

• the overall amount of XP to open all the prestige levels has been decreased (from 10 662 000 to 10 117 300);
  
• the list of level rewards has been updated: it now features golden weapons.

The "Legends" Ranked Matches season will be active until June 14th 2023.

Changes that took place this season:

• Added a leaderboard. Now you can easily track your achievements in the RM: your current amount of points and your place in the global rating. The leaderboard is updated every few days.
  
• Added the "Gas Station" map to the "Plant the bomb" mode.
  
• Priority stack matchmaking. Since the launch of RM РМ 3.0, we've received a lot of suggestions on how to improve them. Among the most popular ones were: better team balance for the players playing in a stack. Now the matchmaking in RM will look like this: the system will try to fill the room with groups of the same size. For example, if five players in a clan decide to play ranked, they will face off against groups of five.
  
• Rewards for league advancement. After the calibration stage, you will get a unique weapon charm that will change depending on the highest league you've managed to reach in the current season.
  
• New items in the seasonal shop.

It's time to get back in line if you want to keep your character's name! Soon, the nickname database in the game will be updated, and characters' names of inactive accounts will be reset. They will be replaced by the default name (soldierХХХХ). Log into the game before April 12; otherwise, your character's name will be reset. On accounts with multiple characters, you should log into the game with each of them in order not to lose the characters' name.

The renaming will affect those who have not logged into the game for a long time. If you are active and have recently played, your account name will not be reset. It is worth warning friends who have not visited Warface for a long time about the need to enter the game.

Users whose characters will be renamed will still be able to play without restrictions and will be able to choose a new name for free on a special page.

[h2]Battle Pass "Legends"[/h2]

We have preserved all the mechanics of the latest Battle Pass, only the rewards have been changed. In the seasonal store, you will find parts (up to 10,000 in total) and new weapons of the "Undead" series — SA Hellion, Benelli M2 SP, Vigilance Rifles A-M20 and Barrett M82A1. As for the progression rewards, the system is familiar: for the main levels, you'll receive achievements, charms, skins and two secondary weapons (a cleaver and a pistol). Additional levels will yield coins for purchases in the Battle Pass store.

[h3]"Undead" and "Survivor" Series[/h3]
Complete the Battle Pass progression and special contracts, and get guns from the new "Undead" and "Survivor" series!

[h2]Ranked Matches[/h2]

We have made a lot of improvements to the Ranked Matches system in the new season. We'll launch a leaderboard, improved team matchmaking in stacks, and add unique rewards for levelling up. Don't forget about the Ranked shop — new items will be waiting for you there! Read more about the novelties below.

[h3]"Survivor" Gear[/h3]
In the seasonal Ranked Matches shop, you can find the new "Survivor" gear set. The equipment develops the concept of a good protection against bullets, but slow regeneration of health and armour.

With the "Survivor"set, recovery begins only after 10 seconds without impact (except for health restoration for the Medic and the armour for the Engineer). But, at the same time, the total number of armour points has been increased (compared to the previous sets of equipment) and limb protection has been improved. The perks are set off by the changes to the set bonuses. Now, bonuses are given only when using all items at once, and there is no longer damage reduction for assault rifles, shotguns and submachine guns.

[h3]Leaderboard[/h3]
You can easily track your Ranked Matches progress — your current number of points and place in the ranking. The leaderboard will be updated every few days.

[h3]Matchmaking Improvements[/h3]
Since the launch of RM 3.0, we have received a lot of suggestions for improvements. The most popular one was improving the matchmaking balance. Now, matchmaking in Ranked Matches will be arranged as follows: the system will try to gather in one room equal groups of players.

For example, if five players from the same clan decide to play Ranked Matches, they will be matched with a stack of five players.

[h3]League Progression Rewards[/h3]
After completing the calibration phase, you will receive a unique charm that will change depending on your maximum league in the current season. For example, if you complete the calibration in the "Bronze" league, you will receive a bronze helmet. And if you switch to "Silver", your charm will change. At the same time, don't not worry about losing and returning to the previous league, the charm does not roll back.

[h3]Novelties in the Seasonal Shop[/h3]
In the Ranked shop, you can get new melee weapons, skins for their regular versions, a new smoke grenade, and a new set of customization items: achievements and charms. In addition, a new set of "Survivor" equipment will be available in the shop.

[h2]Other Novelties[/h2]

[h3]OTs-48K MK2[/h3]
The OTs-48K MK2 is a Russian sniper rifle developed in the late 90s for special forces soldiers. Compared to its competitors, the OTs-48 MK2 stands out for its high damage, increased body and limbs damage multiplier, and good firing range.

You can install mods on the rifle, including unique ones. The first mod increases the weapon change speed and crosshair stability, while the second increases the dash speed, set off by reduced rate of fire. The golden weapon version has a more spacious magazine.

[h3]Major Wharton Suit[/h3]
The young Lee Wharton suit will be soon added to the game. At that time, the future general had the rank of major and served in the US Army. Lee Austin Wharton had a successful career, showing excellent skills as a commander and fighter. Very soon, we will reveal the details of his biography. In the meantime, here are the items included in the set: the Major Wharton Sniper Suit, OTs-48K MK2, Desert Eagle, and Hunting Knife of the "Sea Hunter" series, as well as namesake weapon skins, a set of achievements, and a charm.

The content will be available in special contracts, the start of which we will announce in the news.

[h3]"Hellraiser" Series[/h3]
The "Hellraiser" weapon series offers a bright and memorable design. The frames of the weapon models are decorated with a dragon and flames. The series includes the Benelli M2 SP and the Taurus CT9 G2.

The new season of prestige levels is coming! New rewards for levels are waiting for you: golden weapons, parts, a set of unique achievements, XP and weapon mastery boosters, as well as useful consumables.
