A hotfix has been installed on the servers. In this version, we have fixed the problem with passive device upgrading, crashes with the IMBEL IA2 Assault, and other critical issues of the previous update.

• Molotov: the item has been temporarily banned in Ranked Matches because it may work incorrectly when colliding with objects on the map. Some players exploited this, and it negatively affected the match balance. The information has been forwarded to the developers. We will keep you updated on the matter, stay tuned.

Very soon, an event "Winter Brawl" will appear in the game. Get ready for a new PvP mode, winter themed maps, the new "Present" weapon series and much more!

[h3]Event Details[/h3]

This event is filled with holiday spirit and festive cheer, but has also kept the general principle of the previous events: play and earn the event currency to get desired novelties.

During the event, you will be able to try out the new PvP mode "Winter Brawl", take advantage of new contracts and earn lots of rewards. Let's break it down.



[h3] New PvP Mode "Winter Brawl"[/h3]

The battles in the new mode will take place on the winter maps — XMAS Hangar or Bridges Modern. Don't miss the chance to not only enjoy the combat, but also the beauty of these festive themed maps. And don't forget to take cool screenshots!


This is where the fun begins! After the players are divided into two teams, the match starts. To win, one of the teams will need to score 200 points, before their opposing team does. If this doesn't happen before the timer runs out, the team that scored the most points wins. But to achieve victory, you will have to fight in pretty unusual conditions — with the help of power ups, that can completely change the course of the game!

[h3]What you need to know about the power ups[/h3]

Among the power ups you will be able to find those that will increase your health, armor, and recovery or change your level of mobility. With great power ups comes great responsibility, keep in mind that some power ups can play a cruel trick on you and even take away your ability to use conventional weapons when you need them most. But don't be afraid of the power ups, because they will give truly incredible abilities and can turn you into one of the special classes:

• Rocketman — a rocket launcher with an unlimited number of ammo that recovers over time will fall into your hands. You also don't lose your weapon and get additional protection from explosions.
  
• Pyromaniac — you get a flamethrower and a Molotov cocktail.
  
• Juggernaut — you will become the owner of a heavy machine gun with an unlimited supply of ammunition, but you will lose almost all of your mobility, and you won't be able to slide, run, jump, squat and help allies double climb. Your only weak spots left will be your head and the reactor on your back.
  
• Ninja — is the complete opposite of Juggernaut. All your weapons are replaced by a single Katana with increased characteristics. In addition, your mobility is multiplied by increasing your running speed, the duration of your sprint, you get the ability to climb taller objects without allies, and the noise from your footsteps will be reduced. In addition, the Ninja will reduce the duration of the slide, which will give additional maneuverability.
  

• You will be able to pick up power ups on the map, which will play an audio alert and show up on the minimap when they appear.
  
• You won't be able to pick up a power up accidentally, you will have to "use" the power up.
  
• Depending on the power up you got, you will have a special ability that can remain active until the end of the match.
  
• Upon the player's death, the power up is released and can be stolen by any other player.
  
• Eliminating an enemy with a power up, will award you more points.
  
• You can only have one power up at a time, so if you choose to pick up another power up, you will lose the one you currently have.
  

[h3]Event shop[/h3]

In the event shop, you will find a new skin — the Arctic Trooper Suit. This skin has a different look for each side (Warface and Blackwood) and can also be installed on any class.



You will also find many other novelties in the event store line up: holiday equipment, the "Present" camouflage series for the АК-47, H&K G36 Assault, Fabarm P.S.S.10, SR-2 Veresk, SIG MPX Copperhead and M40A5, a box with weapons from the "Present" series and a charm.

If you don't have the time to earn the amount of currency you want, you will be able to purchase it. In the event shop you will find sets of 300, 800, 2,200 or 5,000 black market coins that will help you get your desired novelties.

After the event ends, all black market coins on your account will expire. Don’t forget to spend your saved up currency!


Be sure to take a look at the event showcase. By opening cards, you will receive discounts on items that were previously hidden, and purchase them. And if you were looking for something special, but didn't find the right item, you can always update the cards. You will come across weapons, camouflages from winter series and festive items. There are more than 70 items, so even the most sophisticated and demanding players will be able to find something that suits their taste. You will be able to purchase all of these items for the event currency at a discount, and some of the items will be available completely free of charge. Keep an eye on the showcase and don't miss out on the best deals!

[h3]Event Rewards[/h3]

Among the festive awards you'll find the new "Present" weapons series, equipment, a charm and more. Getting rewards in the event is really easy — just play in the special mode and earn the event currency. And if you want to get even more festive currency, complete the profitable contracts and receive great rewards! 

"Present" Weapons Series

In the event store, you will find a box with novelties from this truly festive series. The series includes: АК-47, H&K G36 Assault, Fabarm P.S.S.10, SR-2 Veresk, SIG MPX Copperhead and M40A5. Get a boost of holiday cheer before the holidays arrive and check out this series!

In addition, you can purchase camouflages of the same series for the regular versions of the weapon from the event store.



The game will features new achievements for eliminating enemies with new weapon models. Defeat your enemies with "Present" arms, earn achievements and decorate your profile! We haven't forgotten about weapon charm collectors, you'll soon be able to add a new charm to your collection.



[h3] Event Contracts[/h3]

Do you want even more currency? Easy! Complete event contracts and earn more coins. By completing all of the contracts, you will receive a significantly more currency than if you just played matches in the "Winter Brawl" mode. There will be enough coins to spoil yourself with desirable novelties!

New activity seasons you are already familiar with have begun in the "Side by Side" season. Read on to learn more about what to do in the upcoming months and, most importantly, what rewards you can get for your efforts.

[h2]Battle Pass[/h2]


The "Side by Side" Battle Pass will be active until the 13th of February, 2023. Know your strengths and focus on that date. It is unlikely that the season will be prolonged.

In the current season, the Battle Pass has undergone many changes that we announced before. Use the contents list below to navigate to the change you are interested in, or click on the buttons "More on the BP" and "BP FAQ" to jump to the corresponding articles.

Main Changes:

• possibility to choose Daily Quests and a major system reworking;
  
• added class specific contracts as the main way to earn weapon tokens;
  
• added parts to the seasonal shop;
  
• reduced the amount of the main progression levels;
  
• increased the amount of additional levels;
  
• reconsidered XP gain for matches in PvE and Special Operations.

There are several types of rewards in the Battle Pass:

• main progression rewards (camos, weapon charms, permanent secondary weapons, consumables, and currency);
  
• additional progression rewards (weapon tokens);
  
• daily and class specific contract rewards (in the first case, you can get a seasonal weapon box, in the second — weapon tokens and a class achievement);
  
• weapons and parts in the seasonal shop.
  
• To get all the seasonal BP shop weapons, you will have to complete 4 class specific contracts. One contract yields enough weapon tokens to buy one permanent weapon. There is a restriction: the contracts are only available from the 15th BP level for the owners of premium access of any type.
  

And if you want to also earn parts, then be active and unlock additional BP levels. The more you unlock, the more rewards you can buy from the seasonal shop. It is also worth mentioning, that if you wish to first buy some parts and then purchase guns, it is also possible.

So, to get the most out of the BP, you need to play actively and regularly, complete daily quests and contracts, but to get the bare minimum it is sufficient to unlock basic progression levels.

[h3]More About the Rewards[/h3]
Among the Battle Pass rewards, you can find the "Strider" and "Wanderer" series, thematic charms, as well as achievements. Let's take a closer look!

"Strider" Series
The "Strider" series includes cool weapons that you can shape to your need using mods (except for the Push Daggers, as they do not have mods). Take a look at the AK Alpha, Typhoon F12, Kriss Super V Custom, and CDX-MC Kraken. Their characteristics got improved, and you can make them even more effective with the mod system.

"Wanderer" Series
The guns of the "Wanderer" series look like they have been through rough and tumble and have lost their sheen. Don't judge a book (or a gun) by its cover. Their firepower and reliability is as high as ever! The weapons of this series are not modifiable.

New Charms and Achievements
The new season also brings a new achievement and a set of thematic charms that you can decorate your profile and weapons with. You will get the new customization items once you unlock certain Battle Pass levels. And if you want more achievements, you are welcome to complete class contracts.



[h3]BP Coins[/h3]
These are the main BP currency that you can spend in the seasonal shop. There are two ways to earn these coins:

• by completing daily and class specific contracts;
  
• by unlocking additional progression levels.
  

As already mentioned before, one completed contract yields enough tokens to buy some parts or one permanent weapon from the seasonal shop. If you complete all contracts and unlock additional levels, you could buy every item in the shop's assortment. Do not forget: weapon tokens expire after the season ends and are not transferred to the next. The shop's line-up of this season offers two types of rewards: parts and powerful weapons of the "Strider" series that can be modified. You will find such guns as the assault rifle H&K G36 Assault, the Sentry 12 rifle, dual-wield machine-guns SIG MPX Copperhead, and the Kel-Tec RDB-C sniper rifle.

The weapons in the shop are obtainable for BP coins both for a limited time as well as forever. The parts are offered in packs. All unused BP coins will expire at the end of the season and will not be transferred to the next. Be cautious and try to spend them all!

To get permanent weapons, you will have to buy their temporary versions in this order: for 3, 5, 7, and 9 days (costing 25/50/75/125 BP coins accordingly), and finally the permament weapon for 175 BP coins. In total, you will spend 450 BP coins to obtain a permanent weapon.

[h2]Prestige Levels[/h2]
The "Side by Side" prestige season will continue until the 15th of March, 2023.

Prestige are additional levels (from 101st to 1000th) in the progression system that you can unlock as long as the seasonal activity is on. Progressing through the Prestige levels is the same as with the regular levels: you play and gain XP for every battle. The only difference is that the Prestige levels require more XP and are reset each season.

Changes that took place in this season:

• decreased the total XP needed to unlock all Prestige levels (from 18 155 200 to 10 662 000);
  
• updated rewards: now, instead of getting golden weapons, you get parts; boosters last longer, and there are more consumables.

[h2]Ranked Matches[/h2]


The "Side by Side" Ranked Matches season will be active until the 22nd of March, 2023.

Changes that took place this season:

• the Molotov is now permitted in RM;
  
• all versions of the Kel-Tec RDB-C are now permitted in RM;
  
• after the season ends, there may be an inter-seasonal period when the ranked PvP will be inaccessible until the start of the next season. This pause will give you time to relax and gather your strength for the next challenge, and us — the time to tweak and improve the game before the next season.
  

If you need a refresher about the details of the ranked PvP, you can look through this article. We also remind you that the ranked currency for the seasonal shop does not expire and will be transferred to the next season.

The seasonal shop line-up has been updated. Some of the previous season's articles are available again, new items have been added, boxes and temporary guns have been switched up. All in all, you can add to your collection many noteworthy items and achieve even more glorious victories!

We constantly develop and improve the modification system. And the list of modifiable items is expanding. We are glad to inform you that in this update the modification system has been replenished with legendary weapons:

• AK Alpha;
  
• Typhoon F12;
  
• Kriss Super V Custom;
  
• CDX-MC Kraken.
  

The basic characteristics of these models have been increased. Also, regular and unique mods can now be installed on the models.

[h2]АK Alpha[/h2]

The АK Alpha is a unique weapon based on the Kalashnikov assault rifle, modified with advanced technologies by a team of the best military specialists. The AK Alpha comes equipped with unique attachments: a silencer, suppressor, tactical grip, Sig Sauer Romeo 4 RDS, and Hartman MH1 RDS.



[h3]Weapon Tweaks[/h3]

• Increased damage (from 82 to 85).
  
• Reduced recoil.
  
• Increased damage multipliers (from 4.6/1/0.9/0.9 to 6/1/1/1 head/body/arms/legs).
  

[h3]Mods[/h3]
Install the "Light Bullets" mod on the AK Alpha to increase its rate of fire and reduce recoil. This build will allow you to feel comfortable at close range and increase the general effectiveness of the weapon. The "Quadro" mod switches the model to the burst fire mode, shooting four bullets in one burst. One burst will be enough for a guaranteed elimination to the head or body of any enemy (even a highly armored one).

[h2]Typhoon F12[/h2]

The Typhoon F12 is a Turkish automatic rifle designed on the basis of the AR-15 platform. It features a large assortment of attachments that improve its characteristics: a unique silencer, suppressor, two tactical grips and reflex sight.



[h3]Weapon Tweaks[/h3]

• Increased firing range (from 4 to 4.8).
  
• Increased head damage multiplier (from 1.2 to 1.5).
  

[h3]Mods[/h3]
Mods for the Typhoon F12 give good bonuses while negative effects are negligible. The mod "Assault Mode" increases damage, rate of fire and magazine capacity, which makes the weapon a good competitor to the SIX12 AUTO-SD. The "Precision Frame" mod significantly increases its damage and accuracy, giving a chance to eliminate an opponent with one shot.

[h2]Kriss Super V Custom[/h2]

The Kriss Super V Custom is a modified version of the popular submachine gun Kriss Super V with improved ergonomics and unique attachments included. It is staffed with an improved silencer, unique grip that increases the reload speed, and several sights.



[h3]Weapon Tweaks[/h3]

• Reduced recoil.
  
• Increased leg damage multiplier (from 0.9 to 0.95).
  

[h3]Mods[/h3]
Do you like fast-firing guns that allow you to literally riddle the enemy? Or do you prefer accurate shooting and guaranteed elimination of the enemy with a headshot? The Kriss Super V Custom can be turned into any of these versions! The "Light Bullets" mod increases its magazine capacity and rate of fire. And the "Deadly Precision" mod greatly increases its damage and range.

[h2]CDX-MC Kraken[/h2]

The CDX-MC Kraken is a multi-caliber bolt-action rifle manufactured by Cadex Defence. The rifle uses high-caliber ammunition that inflicts additional damage to limbs and pierces vests protecting from one shot. The model comes equipped with exlusive attachments: a silencer, suppressor, bipod and improved scope.



[h3]Weapon Tweaks[/h3]

• Increased damage multipliers (from 5/1/1.02/1.02 to 5/1.15/1.25/1.25).
  

[h3]Mods[/h3]
The model can eliminate the enemy with one shot in any part of the body, even if the opponent wears the best sets of equipment! To do this, you need to use the unique mod "Heavy Frame". It will significantly increase the damage dealt and set off this perk with a decreased ADS speed and rate of fire.

Note: mods can be installed and upgraded for all permanent versions of these weapons, including series and golden ones.
