A few days ago, we updated the character renaming page on the website. In this publication, we will tell you more about the changes. Read on to learn the details.

[h3]Why has the page been updated?[/h3]

The changes that have taken place are the first stage in the global update of the website. In the future, we plan to update all sections related to account top-ups and services.

We want to keep the familiar processes but aim to make them more user-friendly and intuitive, so we are mainly focusing on visual changes. However, the mechanics of some website sections will also be tweaked to improve user interaction with them.

The website services will be updated step by step, gradually covering wider user groups. At each step, we will carefully analyze the results as well as collect additional feedback to work on improvements. It is worth mentioning that the implementation of the plan requires a lot of resources, so a complete update can take quite a lot of time. Now let's move on to the recent changes.

[h3]Character Renaming Page[/h3]

The name change page has been completely redesigned. It now features a new interface that will also appear in other parts of the website in the future.

Change Character Name

Here is the list of tweaks to the service mechanics.

• Kredit balance is now displayed on the website page. The balance is updated with every page refresh, but it doesn't sync in real time. This means that if you open the page and then spend currency in the game, the balance will remain the same until you refresh the page again. We would like to note that the mechanics are working in test mode, we are studying the load. If, according to the testing results, it turns out that counter support is too resource-consuming and affects the website stability, we will remove it.
  
• Now, you can pay for renaming with the funds on your in-game account. Yes, this long-awaited feature is live! Now, you can pay for the name change with Kredits that are already on your in-game account. Before, the serive could be paid for only with a new payment.
  
• You can no longer reserve the name beforehand. Before, you could reserve a nickname, and then you had 7 days to pay for the service. Some users abused this possibility, keeping nicknames reserved for months and even years. Now, to reserve a character name, you need to pay for the service. If you change your mind and cancel renaming, the funds will be returned to your account.
  
• You can check if the nickname is available. Now, if you enter the desired nickname and press the "Rename" button, the system will check if the selected word is already occupied and will notify you in the input field.

A new update has been installed on the game servers. In this patch, you will find thematic contracts and a pack of bug fixes. Most importantly, we have fixed several vulnerabilities that interfered with competitive gameplay.

Contracts

Two new contracts with the previously released agent's content will soon become available in the game. Be sure to complete all the tasks and replenish your arsenal with cool novelties! Below, you can find more information on the contracts.

• Added a thematic contract and a Random weapon Box. We will tell you more about the ways of obtaining it in future publications.

• Fixed some causes of game client crashes.
  
• Fixed a vulnerability that allowed players with third-party software to gain unintended advantage using the location of other players in the match.
  
• Fixed a vulnerability that allowed players with third-party software to crash other players' clients.

• Game lobby: fixed a bug due to which the floor textures would not render at certain camera angles.
  
• Fixed a bug due to which icons of some weapon models were displayed incorrectly.

[h3]Known Issues[/h3]

• Missing localisation of some texts.
  
• Some banners in the main menu might be displayed incorrectly for screen resolutions of 1440x900 or lower.
  
• Sometimes the "Profile" tab shows an empty screen if the player has reached prestige levels. To fix the issue, restart the game client.

The weapons below will be reworked. We will demonstrate the tweaked versions later.

IMBEL IA2 Assault

The IMBEL IA2 Assault is an assault rifle adopted by the Brazilian Army to replace the outdated FN FAL and M16A2. The novelty offers very unusual specs for a weapon of its class — it deals a very high damage, but has a quite low rate of fire.

The arm is a perfect fit for sharpshooters as it is very likely to kill enemies with just a couple of shots. In addition, the rifle is equipped with a unique grenade launcher, which will definitely help you out in a pinch.



V3 TAC-13

The V3 TAC-13 is a new shortened semi-automatic rifle from Remington. In terms of the in-game specs, the closest competitor to the V3 TAC-13 is the Benelli Super Black Eagle 3. The novelty differs from its counterpart thanks to an increased damage and a larger magazine capacity, but has a reduced range and rate of fire.

The golden version features an even more spacious magazine.

The third Ranked Matches season dedicated to the "Rock Solid" update has already kicked off. Take part in breathtaking combats and get plentiful rewards including powerful class-specific weapons, the Feather skin for the Hunting Knife, random boxes, unique achievements and a cool weapon charm. Hurry up to earn them all!

• The season will last till the 15th of June.
  
• The rewards for leagues include powerful weapons, random boxes and unique achievements. The higher the league - the better the gun!
  
• You will fight on the maps of "Plant the bomb" game mode and Blitz except for "Platform" and "Heist".
  
• SEDs are excluded from the Ranked.

[h3]Rewards[/h3]

Prove your skills every season to gain recognition and additional bonuses. The current Ranked Matches season offers new rewards such as Feather Hunting Knife Random boxes, the Feather skin for the Hunting Knife and a Earthkeeper Charm. You can also gain exclusive achievements: the "Sharp Claws" mark, the "Fragile Gem" badge and the "Mighty Wing" stripe.



[h3]Details[/h3]

• The unique stripe "Soldier of Fortune" and the "Warface Ranking Matches League" badge will be given immediately upon reaching the 1st and the 21st leagues respectively.
  
• Temporary weapons (for 3 days) will be awarded for the 21st - 9th leagues.

• Camos and achievements for leagues are permanent.
  
• If you skip a season, you’ll have to wait until the 12-season cycle is complete to try and earn the first league achievement again! All achievements can be obtained only once.
  
• To obtain achievements according to the occupied places ("Special Metal Forces Squad", "Silver Veterans Squad", "Elite Carbon Squad" or "Gold Legendary Squad") and camos after the end of the season, you must log into the game during the next season. Otherwise, if you come back after several seasons of Ranked Matches, the reward will be lost.
