Our special reconnaissance unit has just returned from a challenging voyage and prepared an interesting report. According to data received from a Hook, a great tide of gifts is approaching Warface servers.

It's time to loot a couple of hiding places, seize a bunch of cool guns, and pin a damn beautiful emblem on your profile. Become a true pirate and enjoy an unusual celebration - the in-game event has already started! Just visit a special promo page, confirm your participation and start completing simple PvE tasks.

[h3]Pirates' Day Rewards[/h3]

According to the original idea, on this day you need to behave like a true pirate. As a well-known pirate used to say, not all treasure is silver and gold. To mark this day, we have prepared flashy content that you will be able to grab by taking part in themed events.

[h3]"Pirate" Weapon Series[/h3]

It is believed that sea robbers feared noone and nothing. But like all sailors, pirates believed that a monster was hiding in the unexplored deep sea, the Kraken, a hideous monster terrorizing ships bringing death and disaster. This ocean-dwelling nightmare adorns the guns of the new series. The kraken has a human skull in a pirate cocked hat instead of a head, and behind it a submerged ship is displayed.

You can get the "Pirate" weapon series on a special promo page, as rewards for reaching leagues in Ranked Matches, in the crafting system, as well as for in-game currency in the game store. Stay tuned for more details!



By eliminating those who do not comply with the Pirate Code with "Pirate" weapons, you can get expert stripes!



[h3]Themed Charms[/h3]

The charm system in Warface will open up a new facet of customization: together with camouflages, they will make customization of the weapon looks even more flexible.



In the framework of the event, you can get 5 types of charms. Each accessory is made in a unique style, so it will be easy for you to choose a charm to your liking. Learn more details about the new mechanics in a separate publication.

[h3]Themed Achievements[/h3]

Themed achievements will be a cherry on top. They will complete the look of a true pirate! The symbol on the "Pirate Banner" mark is well familiar while the "Black Spot" badge hints that its owner has nothing to lose. The "Treasure Map in a Bottle" stripe will definitely bring you good luck in battle.

[h3]How to get event more rewards?[/h3]

Take part in in-game events! All you need is to play for your own pleasure and complete simple tasks. There are several events available during the Pirates' Day celebration.

• In-game Battle Pass: Season 0. What is it? It's simple! Familiar tasks and cool rewards, and most importantly - integration into the game client. Participants of the Battle Pass: Season 0 will be able to replenish their arsenals with unique prizes including the HX Outdoors Trident Knife and its camouflages, the "Lightcycle" weapon series, and cards for crafting. The event is already available on the game server.
  
• Mini-game "Samurai 2D". During dashing celebrations, the promo page set in the style of popular retro games will continue working. Have you dreamed of getting oriental style weapons? This is your chance!
  
• Battle Pass "Dark Samurai". Who said that a cheeky sailor with a saber at the ready cannot be a samurai in his heart of hearts? Everything is possible in Warface! See for yourself by joining the ranks of a special squad. Battle Pass participants can become the owners of an excellent set of skins, weapons, camouflages, as well as a rare weapon series and achievements.

An update has been installed on the Warface servers bringing an in-game Battle Pass, Pirates' Day themed content, weapon charms, a Solo Mission, a reworked "District" map, heaps of new weapons and more.



The installation of the September update will mean the re-downloading of the full game for all the players – that is approximately 17GB of data. We realize how much we inconvenience you with this, so we have prepared a compensation – a Mega VIP booster for 3 days. Furthermore, we want to assure you this is a necessary one-off measure that will provide plenty of benefits in the long run. Details.

The themed Pirates' Day Ranked Matches Season has already kicked off. Take part in breathtaking combat and get plentiful rewards including permanent themed camos and charms, temporary guns and hundreds of crafting cards for the "Pirate" weapon series. Show your opponents that you are not the one to feed the fish - your effort will be generously rewarded with a proper booty. Demonstrate your skill and fly your Jolly Roger!

The pilot version of the Battle Pass: Season 0 has already started and will last till September 30! It brings familiar mechanics, simple tasks, integration into the game client - everything you have been looking forward to. Join the Battle Pass: Season 0 and get heaps of extraordinary rewards!



The test global operation will last for a week while the reward accumulation rate will be significantly modified. According to the results of your vote, the tasks of all weeks are already unlocked, so you will not have to wait for new missions every single day. Moreover, we have put the minimum cost of skipping a task – a nominal value in Warface Dollars - to make this special week full of wonderful events even more enjoyable.

Dear Steam players!

As we have previously announced, the massive update coming tomorrow marks a better synchronization between the CIS game version updates and EU/NA ones. We are aiming to fix a range of technical issues as well as build a process for bringing content updates at a faster pace. Yet, the news don’t stop with that!

We are excited to announce that the CIS game version is now available in Steam as a separate entity from our EU/NA client. This means that you will not cross paths with the players of the CIS region in-game, yet we will share the Community Hub and other social features of Steam. The CIS Steam version of Warface is aimed at players from Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine that previously could not play Warface in Steam without VPN. This version will be identical to standard CIS game client, just like our EU/NA Steam version of the game matches the regular Game Center one.

In practice, it means that while our “way of living” will not be swayed, we will be able to do even more great things in Steam and outside of it, delivering more polished game сontent at a faster pace.

It will bring not only tons of new content and the test season of the first in-game Battle Pass but will also enable better synchronization between the CIS game version updates and EU/NA ones. With that we are aiming to fix a range of technical issues as well as build a process for bringing content updates at a faster pace. However, this requires two measures that we want to address in this article.

First, the installment of September update will mean the re-downloading of the full game for all the players – that is approximately 17GB of data. We realize how much we inconvenience you with this, so we have prepared a compensation – a Mega VIP booster for 3 days. The way of obtaining your booster will be announced in the update article, once the update goes live. Furthermore, we want to assure you this is a necessary one-off measure that will provide plenty of benefits in the long run. Thank you for your understanding!

The second measure has to do with Battle Pass: Season 0, the test season of the in-game Battle Pass. Its duration will be altered to one week, while the reward accumulation rate will be significantly modified. This way, you will be able to seize all the prizes despite the limited nature of this test event. A lot of bugs and issues have been located and fixed in it during the CIS version tests, so for our update we would like to have a clean one-week run, during which you will hopefully have plenty of fun and rewards. After that, EU/NA and the CIS region will embrace “Mutiny”, the first full-fledged in-game Battle Pass. As for the mentioned modifications used for Season O, we really need your opinion.

There are three options for these modifications:

1. Unlock all Battle Pass tasks on day one, without having to wait for new tasks every single day
   
2. Put the minimum cost of skipping a task – a nominal value in Warface Dollars
   
3. Do both – options 1 and 2 combined

The next update will expand the line-up of reworked versions of popular and well familiar maps. District 2.0 for the "Plant the Bomb" mode will boast a new setting, more comfortable gameplay and better player readability. You will fight among wide highways and overpasses where majestic skyscrapers grow on the ruins of shabby old houses.
