As you know, apart from adding new maps the Warface development team also revamps the existing ones. The reworked map "Blackgold" for the mode "Storm" will soon premiere in the game. Today we will tell you about the changes made.

[h3]DETAILS[/h3]
"Blackgold" is one of the first maps that appeared in Warface. Even today, after 8 years, it is still popular with veterans of the project and beginners. However, so much time had passed since the location creation that it required being brought to modern standards.

While reworking the map, the developers paid attention mainly to its appearance. The Middle East became the basic setting, already familiar to you thanks to the revamped versions of "Yard" and "Widestreet". The map became more “living” after lighting adjustment and replacement of objects and textures with more detailed and modern ones. At the same time, now players are more visible against the background.

The location is now even more atmospheric thanks to new animations, and special visual and sound effects that guarantee a complete immersion into the gameplay!



In general, the gameplay on the map remains the same, but now it is more balanced. Moreover, some "problem areas" have been eradicated, for example, unintended vulnerable spots. All this will make the game on "Blackgold" more comfortable without affecting the gameplay.

We will announce later the exact date of appearance of the reworked "Blackgold" map.

The long winter months of hard training and fine-tuning of your skills are over. Here is a great opportunity to show what you're capable of. Battle Cup: Blackwood is almost here!

On the 14th and the 15th of March 2020, ESports teams will face each other in a double-elimination tournament in the "Plant the Bomb" mode. Only a fair combat can determine the real PvP champion!

• March the 3rd – registration opens;
  
• March the 13th, 15:00 – registration ends;
  
• March the 13th, 18:00 – seeding / allocation ends, the grid will be posted;
  
• March the 14th, 14:00 – tournament starts.

• 1st place: 50 000 Kredits to the team (full permanent Blackwood gear set for all classes and one weapon of choice of the series "Onyx" ,"Morion" or "Obsidian");
  
• 2nd place: 35 000 Kredits to the team (full permanent Blackwood gear set for all classes and one weapon of choice of the series "Onyx" ,"Morion" or "Obsidian");
  
• 3rd place: 25 000 Kredits to the team (full permanent Blackwood gear set for three classes and one weapon of choice of the series "Onyx" ,"Morion" or "Obsidian");
  
• 4th place: 20 000 Kredits to the team (full permanent Blackwood gear set for two classes and one weapon of choice of the series "Onyx" ,"Morion" or "Obsidian");
