Soon: Disabling Crafting System

We've been working on the redesign of the current PvE for quite a while and are ready to take the first step towards the overhauled system. We don't see the current crafting as an ambitious or high-potential feature, so we decided to gradually disable it and give away craftable weapons to all owners of at least one crafting card.

  • I have crafting cards. What will happen to them?

If you have at least one crafting card of an item, you'll get that item sent directly to your in-game inventory as soon as we finish disabling the system.

  • I have free cards. What will happen to them?

If you have at least one free card, your free card balance will be topped up to 1,000 free cards so that you can exchange them for a craftable item you like. However, if your free card balance is a multiple of 1,000, you won't get additional cards.

For example: you have 15 or 1,015 free cards, you'll get 985 extra free cards to your account. If you have zero, 1,000 or 2,000 free cards, no additional cards will be granted.

  • Will I be able to get more crafting cards?

The system will continue to work as usual till the beginning of August. Until then, you'll be able to earn crafting cards. After the system is disabled, there'll be no ways to get them.

  • What will happen to SpecOps rewards?

We plan to rework the PvE aspect of the game, including its rewards. We'll be sure to share more details later.

  • When will I get my extra crafting and free cards?

In the beginning of August, you'll stop receiving new crafting cards, and we'll start to distribute items according to the plan described above. The weapons will be granted the moment you log into the game until the system is completely removed.

  • When will the system be completely removed?

Crafting will be completely removed when the compensation is over. We'll post a separate announcement to let you know the exact date.

  • What will happen to my card balance if I log into the game after the system is completely disabled?

If you log into the game when the crafting system is removed and the compensation is over, your cards will expire, and we won't be able to deliver the items or free cards to your account. So stay in the loop to not miss this date!

[h3]Mod System Expansion[/h3]
The Sidewinder Venom and the Cobalt Kinetics EDGE Rifle are now available in the mod system. Check out their new stats!



The golden versions are not yet available in the game. Stay tuned for their release!
[h3]Weapons and Gear[/h3]
  • Adrenaline: a different sound plays when hitting an enemy with an active "Thick-Skinned" effect.
  • Beretta PMX SMG: improved sounds of shooting with single and dual versions.

[h3]PvP[/h3]
  • RM:
    • the time for a disconnected player to reconnect and activate penalty relief for their teammates has been prolonged (up to 5 minutes);
    • now, players in the Grandmaster league can see their current position in the leaderboard.

[h3]Other[/h3]
  • Progressive showcase:
    • improved animations, added new sound effects;
    • added a warning about the player being able to obtain only one item for free.
  • Player Profile: we continue to improve the Player Profile following your feedback. Now, in the "Profile" page, you will see the basic stats and the current weapons. We've also added a pop-up window showing player statistics by class and by mode.
  • Prestige season: in the level rewards, the golden Kriss Super V Custom has been swapped for a golden SAR 109T Specs.
  • Inbox: added a purchase button at the bottom of a notification about an expired temporary item.
  • Scoreboard: added a notification about reaching the limit of obtained ranked currency.
  • Changed the lobby theme to an event one.

  • Inventory: fixed a bug that caused the game performance to drop if the player had too many items on their account.

  • Sentry 12: fixed a bug, due to which an incorrect RPM value would show up when the "Lightweight Pellets" mod was installed.
  • Benelli M2 SP: fixed a bug, due to which the ammo crate would not fill up the player’s ammo and magazine if the "Precision Frame" mod was installed.
  • Medkit, Repair Kit: fixed the icons of some mods.
  • Molotov: fixed a bug, due to which the mini-achievements would not always be awarded correctly if a player detonated a claymore with the device.
  • Rainforest HK 433: fixed a bug, due to which the weapon would be displayed incorrectly with the "Compact Magazine" mod installed.
  • Godfather Desert Eagle: fixed a bug, due to which no mods could be installed on the pistol’s barrel.
  • Golden Kalashnikov USA KHAOS: fixed a bug, due to which the weapon wouldn’t deal extra damage to cyborgs.
  • Fixed a bug, due to which the attachments list in the weapon modification window would sometimes be incorrectly displayed for some weapon models.
  • Fixed a bug, due to which some weapon descriptions lacked the information about increased cyborg damage.

  • "Yard": fixed a bug, due to which double climb would not work on the defenders’ side.
  • RM:
    • fixed a bug, due to which an incorrect amount of ranked points would be awarded or subtracted in the Platinum and Diamond leagues;
    • fixed a bug, due to which an incorrect amount of currency was indicated as reward for going up a league in the "How it works" section;
    • fixed a bug, due to which the player’s position in the leaderboard could be incorrectly displayed on the mode’s main screen.

[h3]PvE and SpecOps[/h3]
  • Fixed a bug, due to which, in rare cases, scrolling through the available missions in the PvE section worked incorrectly.
  • Fixed a bug, due to which the available missions filter worked incorrectly when creating a custom room. Now the missions get sorted by difficulty and availability.
  • Fixed a bug, due to which the Hard mode would not always be unlocked after successfully finishing a mission on Normal.
  • Fixed a bug, due to which at low graphics settings the enemy outline would work incorrectly.

  • BP: fixed a bug, due to which the BP section would only be available from the rank 10.
  • Training mission: fixed a bug, due to which the smoke screen could sometimes be displayed incorrectly on the map.
  • Fixed a bug, due to which the game interface could be displayed incorrectly on the 4:3 ratio screens.
  • Voice chat:
    • fixed a bug, due to which re-enabling voice chat during the match would cause it to stop working until the next match or a client restart;
    • fixed a bug that sometimes caused the voice chat to stop working until a client re-start.
  • Fixed some bugs that led to freezes when switching classes.
  • Updated localisation: added missing item and in-game descriptions, fixed some inconsistencies.

Summer Event "Expedition" Now in Game!

The "Treasure Hunters" season is in full swing, and the team has finishied the work on a new large-scale update. The key feature of the patch is a new event "Expedition" with the "Brawl" mode. The mode offers several changes, a progressive showcase and new rewards including the Sticky Grenade. Savvy?

[h2]Event Screen[/h2]

On the event screen, you'll see a progress bar with three check-points. A new check-point will unlock at the beginning of the event, at the start of the second and of the third weeks of the event.

By completing the event contracts, you'll earn event points and fill in the progress bar. Once your progress reaches a check-point, you'll get a thematic reward:

  • A pistol skin for 500 event points,
  • A weapon charm for 1,000 event points,
  • A knife skin for 2,000 event points.




[h2]About the PvP Mode "Brawl"[/h2]

The mode is available on three PvP maps: "Ruins", a new map "Port" and "Yard 2.0".

To win, one of the teams will need to score 350 points, before their opposing team does. If this doesn't happen before the timer runs out, the team that scored the most points wins. But to achieve victory, you will have to fight in pretty unusual conditions with the help of power ups that can completely change the course of the game!

If you're quick enough, you'll be able to pick up special boosters that will give you truly incredible abilities and turn you into one of the special classes:

  • Rocketman. You get a rocket launcher with an unlimited number of ammo that recovers over time. You'll still have your regular weapon and get additional protection from explosions.
  • Pyro. You get a flamethrower and a Molotov cocktail.

  • Juggernaut. You will become the owner of a heavy machine gun with an unlimited supply of ammo, but you will lose your mobility, and you won't be able to slide, run, jump, squat and help allies double-climb. Your only weak spots left will be your head and the reactor on your back.
  • Ninja is the complete opposite of the Juggernaut. All your weapons are replaced by a single Katana with increased specs. In addition, your mobility is multiplied by increasing your running speed and the duration of your sprint. You get the ability to climb taller objects without allies' help, and the noise from your footsteps is reduced.

In the event, we've added two new power ups.

  • Gunslinger is a lone cowboy armed with a powerful revolver that rewards his marksmanship with an instant reload.
  • Grenadier wields the boosted version of the M32A1. This is a unique weapon, for the first time available in PvP. The M32A1 is a powerful drum magazine grenade launcher that allows the Grenadier to pour a rain of explosives on opponents. Launch six deadly grenade shots at a time to eliminate any opposition!


[h2]PvE Part of the Event[/h2]

You'll also take part in the event by completing Special Operations "Anubis", "Blackout" and "The HQ". The event currency is granted only for the first successful mission completion of the day.

[h2]Event Showcase and Its Progress Bar[/h2]

Just like in the spring event, "Expedition" offers a showcase with a reward progress bar.



By using Black Market Coins, you can refresh items in the showcase. Each refresh activation adds to the progress bar. When 100% is reached, you'll get an exclusive offer to get one of four valuable items for free.

After making your choice, the other items become no longer available, the progress bar resets, and you can fill it up again and reach a new offer. The amount of offers is unlimited. The items for special offers are chosen randomly and may repeat.

[h3]What are the event rewards?[/h3]

Among the event rewards, you'll find weapons of the new "Relic" series including the HK433, Kalashnikov USA KHAOS, Beretta PMX and OTs-48K MK2 as well as thematic achievements. To get the weapons, you'll need to collect special cards by purchasing them in the event showcase for Black Market Coins.

Once the event is over, all Black Market Coins will expire. Don't forget to spend your savings!

New PTB Map "Port" Now in Game!



Friends!

A new map for the "Plant the Bomb" mode called "Port" is now available in the game! The sun is shining, the palm trees are swaying, and Warface is once again clashing against Blackwood. Check out the map’s visuals in this publication!

July — the sun is scorching hot, and the sea is gently humming just across the street. But don’t get fooled by the idyllic scenery, as Blackwood and Warface chose this quaint Caribbean port town to battle for control over important trade routes. Fight on the streets by the brilliant blue sea under the shade of palm trees, pass by the trusty cargo crane and the old town hall. And check out the backyard of that unsuspicious building just to its side, it might be important.

And did we mention, that it sticks to all kinds of surfaces? Yes, enemies included.

In comparison to a conventional grenade, this novelty has a reduced blast radius, but deals increased damage from the explosion. You can also install standard grenade mods on the device.
