We continue sharing information about the upcoming update. Read on to learn more about game improvements, seasonal novelties, and the sniper rifle Benelli MR1.

[h3]New Content[/h3]

"Rock Solid" and "Vigilant" Series

The frames of the new arms are designed in a strict, restrained style. Models of the new series have a unique geometry and will appeal to fans of simple camouflages without bright elements.

The "Rock Solid" series includes the OTs-14 Groza, IWI Carmel, Mossberg 590 Custom, Kalashnikov USA Komrad 12, AKS-74U, M4 SMG Custom, Mauser Kar98k, M4 Marksman Custom, Makarov Pistol, Colt M1911A1 and Hunting Knife.

The "Vigilant" series includes the following models: IWI Galil ACE 23, Benelli Super Black Eagle 3, SIG 552 Commando, Benelli MR1, H&K P30 and Karambit.

"Rock Solid" Equipment

We are glad to present to you the new "Rock Solid" gear set. It includes items for each class. The more set pieces you equip, the better set bonus you can get. The "Rock Solid" gear set boasts excellent bullet protection and health and armor recovery.

The equipment set sports different parameters for PvE and PvP: it has a lower incoming damage reduction bonus in PvE. These changes aim to prevent situations when mobs can not deal damage to the player due to too high defense values of the gear.

[h3]Other Novelties[/h3]

Benelli MR1

The Benelli MR1 is a self-loading carbine manufactured by the Italian company Benelli Armi SpA. It offers a semi-automatic fire mode, excellent damage and weak recoil. In addition, the weapon will please snipers with a high rate of fire.

The golden version features an increased magazine capacity.

[h3]Game Improvements[/h3]

Resource caching when displaying weapons in the first person view will be optimized. Previously, in battle, all weapon models used by players were loaded and saved in the cache. Now, the game will load only those models that the player can see on the screen. It aims to deal with freezes in action-packed matches that could occur while joining matches and switching between classes.

Soon in game: Battle Pass "Rock Solid"

A new improved Battle Pass season "Rock Solid" will soon be launched. We have made several important changes to it: premium access is now more affordable; there are several extended access levels; and we continued tweaking the BP experience gain for matches. In addition, now, free access owners will receive more valuable prizes for leveling up! Let's move on to the key changes.

[h3]Battle Pass Levels and Level up Rewards[/h3]

There are now only 50 levels in the BP progression, with no additional prestige levels. Free Battle Pass access will grant you cool weapons and equipment. The new gear will be awarded at the initial levels of the Battle Pass, while powerful weapons, beautiful camouflages, and other novelties will become available at higher levels.

We have decided to remove contracts for weapons and equipment since for some players, these contracts were difficult and took a long time to complete. Now, it is easier to obtain weapons and gear - just play and level up in the Battle Pass!



List of Rewards

[h3]Premium Access Types[/h3]

The extended Battle Pass access has become more affordable - now, it costs only 99 Kredits! In total, there are 5 levels of premium access available. The higher the access level, the faster you will be able to level up.

By purchasing premium access to the Battle Pass, you get access to additional rewards for leveling up. Moreover, you will automatically receive all the free rewards at the end of the BP even if you have not managed to unlock them. Each new level of the extended Battle Pass access provides additional level up bonuses such as increased experience gain for matches, additional daily task slots, faster progress in Battle Pass tasks and contracts.



List of Rewards

[h3]BP XP for Battles[/h3]

We continue to balance Battle Pass XP gain for PvP matches and PvE missions, as well as for Operation Blackwood. The amount of time spent in combat still affects the amount of gained experience, but there are minor changes. In the previous Battle Pass, XP depended on several fixed time periods (for example, in PvE, they were 2, 10 and 16+ minutes). Now, the exact time spent in the match is taken into account, and the amount of experience directly depends on it.

[h3]PvP[/h3]

The main conditions remain like in "Snowstorm" - spend at least 2 minutes in a match and make at least one kill. In PvP matches, BP experience gain will depend on the number of kills - the more opponents you eliminate, the more experience you will get. The minimum XP threshold has remained the same, while players with more kills will get an increased reward! These changes are designed to deal with AFK players and those who interfere with normal gameplay.

[h3]PvE and SO[/h3]

For the PvE mode, the system has also been redesigned - the amount of experience gained in daily missions and Operation Blackwood will depend on the time spent in battle. In general, the amount of experience gained for battles remains the same. Tweaks aim to accurately count the mission completion time. For other special operations, the old conditions for getting experience have been preserved - a fixed number of points for full completion.

[h3]Battle Pass Shop[/h3]

Instead of new models designed especifically for the Battle Pass, the store will offer unique skinned weapons released earlier (OTs-14 Groza, Mossberg 590 Custom, AKS-74U and Mauser Kar98k). Full Battle Pass completion will earn you 600 Battle Pass coins and you will be able to purchase the full pack of four permanent models!

Weapons in the BP shop can only be purchased with Battle Pass coins obtained by leveling up. There is no possibility to buy arms for Kredits.

Inactive Character Renaming



Friends!

Haven't logged into the game for quite a while? It's time to return if you want to preserve your character's name. The character name database will be updated soon, and all names of inactive accounts that haven't logged into the game for over a year will be reset: they will be replaced by the default "u_XXXХХХХX". To avoid this, log into the game before 20:59 UTC on March 13th.

[h3]LOG INTO THE GAME BEFORE 20:59 UTC ON MARCH 13TH TO PRESERVE YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME![/h3]

The renaming will affect those who have not logged into the game for a long time. If you are active and have recently played Warface, your account name will not be reset. It is worth warning friends who have not launched the game for quite a while.

Users whose characters will get renamed will still be able to play without restrictions and can choose a new name for free on a special page.

In this publication, we continue sharing details of the upcoming improvements and new content including a new progression system, interface tweaks, reworked maps "Phantom Zone" and "Oil Depot" as well as other changes.

Please note that the features described are preliminary and can be subject to change per general testing results.

[h3]Game Improvements[/h3]

Progression System

The progression system is a linear character development throughout its in-game life. Previously, it included ranks and the vendor system that stimulated players to move on, reach new heights and receive various in-game bonuses for their success.

The current system is outdated - important items for beginners (for example, Specter equipment) unlocked via the vendor system become available too late; it is not interesting to develop the character; there are no new ranks, and the rewards for them are unattractive. Another significant disadvantage of the existing progression is that it is difficult for a new player to understand.

We decided to change this by redesigning the system so that the player always had the motivation to level up, no matter what stage of the game they are currently at. You can learn more about the new system from a dedicated publication or the video below.

Texture Streaming

We continue to rework textures to fully implement the technology allowing to optimize the PC load. The upcoming update will be the second stage of the process and it will weigh ~10.53 GB. However, the overall required disk space will not increase.

Reworked Interface

In the upcoming season, we will gradually introduce both visual and technical changes to make the game interface more user-friendly. The list of planned improvements includes:

  • updating player progress section;
  • displaying equipment specs in the modification window, a pop-up window notifying about obtaining a new item;
  • updating item information pop-up (e.g. Battle Pass level up reward);
  • technical improvements to the interface - the performance of the game client will be improved in some sections;
  • updating certain icons.


[h3]New Content[/h3]

Slide Activation via the Crouch Button

The game will feature an alternative combination to activate the slide. It works in the following way: while dashing, the player presses the "crouch" button (Ctrl by default), thereby performing a slide. This movement will work as a transitional state between the dash and the crouch positions. Therefore, the final pose will depend on the options selected for the crouch in the settings: "to press the button" or "to hold the button". The new scheme can be activated or disabled in the control settings.

[h3]Content Changes[/h3]

Reworked Maps "Phantom Zone" and "Oil Depot"

In the future season, we will continue to improve your favourite maps. The "Phantom Zone" and "Oil Depot" maps will be significantly redesigned. You are in for both visual and gameplay improvements.

The "Phantom Zone" map will sport upgraded looks, new weather conditions and redesigned lighting. In addition, various effects and anomalies will appear on the map.

The "Oil Depot" map will also change - object looks will be improved, and unintended spots that could be shot through will be removed. The map will offer new passages allowing players to attack from new positions.

Inactive Clan Disbanding



Soldiers!

United by the common goal and interests, many of you have found friends in the game. Dozens of battles won together, hundreds of hours of collaborative efforts and fun, thousands of enemies eliminated - very often it is vital to have a reliable teammate to watch your back. A good team makes a clan, and a good clan becomes a family.

However, unlike a real-life family, if clan members no longer spend time together, it ceases to exist. We have to inform you that the clans whose members have not logged in for 6 months or more will soon be disbanded.

The leaders of the clans facing disbanding have received a corresponding notification. Can you preserve "your family"? Yes, you can. To prevent dismantling, a clan member should log in before the procedure kicks off.
