The year is rapidly coming to an end but we still have a stock of pleasant surprises for you. Very soon the game will feature fascinating new winter items that will not leave you indifferent. We are ready to share the first details. Thus, there will appear two new weapon series dedicated to Ranked Matches and the movie "The Godfather". Read on to learn more!

[h3]"Snow Leopard" Series[/h3]

The collection of seasonal weapons and camos dedicated to Ranked Matches will be replenished. A special winter series "Snow Leopard" has been designed for the best fighters who regularly get breathtaking victories and passionately eliminate competitors in the struggle for the top positions in the leagues. The weapon frames of the new series are decorated with an image of a large cat and an imitation of scars left by its claws which remind the enemy about sharp blades hid in the soft yet mighty paws. These beasts of weapons will suit the most bloodthirsty shooters!



The series includes four primary weapon models, a secondary gun and a knife. We'd like to point out that "Snow Leopard" will offer Medics a pleasant surprise - a new arm about which we will definitely tell you in our future publications. In the meantime, can you guess which model will be added to the class-specific arsenal?

The new series has been ported from the console game version. It comprises special weapons packing a superb punch. The gun specs will pleasantly surprise you: they are on par with golden versions. In addition, these arms are distinguished by their elegant design and a unique heating animation when destroying enemies. The all-new guns will definitely emphasize the high status of their owner on the battlefield!



By disposing of the competition with the "Godfather" weapons, you can get unique achievements - weapon expert stripes.



Please note: the series includes no camouflages, and no attachments can be mounted on the weapon barrels.

The specs indicated are preliminary and can be subject to change per general testing results.

• Do you plan to rework the clan system?

It was in the Roadmap for 2020, but unfortunately it is delayed. We’ll update you on the status of the system’s rework with a separate article in the future.

• Will there be more Ranks in Warface?

The developers don’t plan to add new ranks to the game in the nearest future.

• When will you introduce free female skins that we will be able to choose from while creating a new character?

Currently, this feature is scheduled for 2021.

• Do you plan to merge WF International and WF CIS?

Yes, but first there will be the merge of EU and NA in Warface International and Alpha, Bravo and Charlie servers in Warface RU.

• Any plans for the new season of TOP GUN?

The next season is coming in Q1 2021. We are still considering its details.

• I found a bug, what should I do?

We will appreciate it if you submit a ticket to the customer support. Bugs reported on Social Media lack the details and tech data the support asks you to provide and thus can not be used in the investigation and fixing process.

• I get a lot of “Connection to server lost” recently. When will you fix it?

Your reports on the Social Media are insufficient to correctly investigate the problem. We ask you to contact the Customer Support.

Winter has rightfully taken its reign: it decorated windows with exquisite rime patterns, coated the ground with fresh and blindingly white snow, forced people to wrap themselves in warm jackets, and cats to hide their noses in warm blankets. The main holiday of the year is approaching bringing festive mood, new hopes, the smell of Christmas trees and mandarines!

To mark the upcoming holidays, Warface has launched a free Winter Operation. On a special page, you will find themed rewards, holiday boxes, exciting quests and weapons from the brand new "Glacier" series. Get started and earn cool items. Access to the event is completely free!

[h3]Operation details[/h3]

The new operation is based on the finished "Dark Samurai". Access to it is absolutely free, but it is possible to purchase a special seasonal currency.

• You can still choose rewards by purchasing crates with permanent and temporary prizes.
  
• The task list changes once a day and rotates during several days.
  
• The "Challenge of the day" remains and it grant you different types of currency.
  
• The rewards include heaps of both regular and festive guns and skins, including weapons from the new "Glacier" series.
  
• There is still a "Crate for wins" - it does not require currency, but you must fulfill certain conditions to open it.

[h3]Glacier weapon series[/h3]

In the next update, Warface will feature a new festive weapon series "Glacier" that is already available for operation participants. The guns boast original looks and a colourful frosty animation. Beware, the arms are ice-cold, do not forget to put on gloves!



Naturally, killing blows made with these weapons will grant you sleek achievements!



YOU CAN TRANSFER THE "GLACIER" GUNS INTO THE GAME ONLY AFTER INSTALLING THE UPDATE. TILL THEN THEY WILL BE SAFE IN YOUR INVENTORY.

[h3]Currency gain[/h3]

Like in "Dark Samurai", in the new global operation there are two types of currencies: the base and the premium one. You can get rewards just by playing!

• The base currency gain is not only related to daily tasks. You will be able to receive it for battles - at least 10 points per match, provided that all conditions are met.

• Instead of the base currency, daily task completion will yield cards for crafting, as well as various ammunition items.
  
• By completing the Challenge of the day, you will earn both the base and the premium currencies.
  
• The amount of the premium currency for battles is fixed - 1 point per match. Please note: to mark the occasion, special discounts on the premium currency will be active starting from the operation launch and throughout the weekend.

By completing daily tasks, you will be able to get cards for crafting "Glacier" weapons. The guns themselves can be found in the corresponding crates for the base and the premium currencies!

[h3]All rewards[/h3]

You are in for the weapon series "Glacier", "Winter Camo", "Radiance" and "Evil Santa", themed Christmas items, Arctic Squad camos and cards for crafting new arms. Some of these rewards are temporary while many of them are permanent!



You can find a complete list of rewards in the crate description. In some cases, items may repeat. Read more in F.A.Q. on the operation.

[h3]THE REWARDS GAINED IN THE OPERATION CANNOT BE SOLD ON THE MARKETPLACE.[/h3]

Participation in the operation will not give you access to the Marketplace, if you did not have it before.

We are sure that you have been able to appreciate the new mission, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of classic horror films and burn to ashes hordes of creepy arachnids! "Swarm" is a really cool special operation that will appeal to everyone thanks to its unique features.



Equip your character with "Reaper", one of the most accurate secondary arms in the game. It is a symbiosis of a pistol and a living organism derived from arachnid cells. The new gun will be a perfect pick for the themed "Swarm" season that will elevate your combat efficiency to new heights. Hurry up to expand your armoury with this spectacular collectible weapon featuring unique animation. It is already available on a special promo page.

[h2]Get Reaper[/h2]

Now that you are geared up and fully ready to face monstrous beetles, let's have a brief overview of brand new features the special operation "Swarm" has to offer.

1. Arachnids - the first time in the game

Arachnids are the main enemies in "Swarm". They are dangerous and fast opponents who hunt under cover of darkness. They usually hide in the ground, ventilation systems or hives, waiting for their prey. There are several main types of arachnids. You will need to work out new tactics to deal with them.



2. Awesome flamethrower

The new special operation offers a cool weapon - the Hephaestus Flamethrower. You have passed previously released special operations hundreds of times and dreamed of becoming a Firestarter for a while to mercilessly burn your enemies down with flames? Then you will definitely like "Swarm"! During the operation, its participants get a flamethrower with endless ammo, so you will not have to spare bullets and will burn out hordes of bloodthirsty creatures upon deployment. The new weapon is really hot and is definitely worth trying out!



3. Weapon upgrade mechanics

Samantha is your hope and salvation. This vehicle will become a reliable ally during your descent to the lower levels in "Swarm". And to make the tool truly powerful, feel free to upgrade it. Boosting items for resources is a cool feature, do not underestimate it!

4. Ambience

Enjoy the atmosphere of classic horror films. The scene is a secret Blackwood base with intricate labyrinths located in Death Valley near the Mojave Desert, where, according to our intel, strange experiments on monstrous life species were carried out. Darkness reigns in the new locations, danger, really nasty opponents or sticky webs await around every corner. Watch out!



5. Plot

The situation is heating up - there are even more mysteries ahead. No spoilers, but the ending will definitely shock you. How will it end, and most importantly what will happen next? You will discover it yourself if you come face to face with the danger awaiting you in "Swarm". And if you want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the events even more, check out the comics dedicated to the protagonists. You will surely enjoy Noda's story!

6. Unknown guide

A mysterious stranger will inform you about the mission progress. Who is the person and what are the motives? We do not know. Can you trust this stranger? Find it out. Follow the directions, but stay alert. Your goal is to get information, not to fall into a death trap!

7. Reward system

We go on experimenting with the cyclical reward system. This time the scheme is simple - a certain time is allotted for the entire mission completion during which you will try to finish the special operation with the best result. The better and faster you manage to do it, the more valuable reward box you will get when the cycle is over. The box includes cards for crafting powerful guns from the themed "Parasite" series.



8. Unique achievements

The new special operation is rich with unique achievements for decorating your coat of arms and profile. Get them all to demonstrate your skills to other players.

A "Swarm" update hotfix has been installed on the Warface servers. It brings fixes to the blocked interface and other changes. Read on to learn details and hurry up to check it out in the game!

[h3]Content Changes[/h3]

Other

• There has been an exchange of rewards for completing the first and the second daily missions in the Battle Pass. Previously, the task "Eliminate 75 enemies in any mode" yielded 4 stars, while "Deal 10,000 damage in any mode" - 5 stars. Now, the first quest grants 5 stars, and the second one - 4 stars. The total number of rewards remains the same.
  
• The terms of one of the upcoming weekly missions in the "Swarm" Battle Pass have been updated.
  
• Updated in-game texts and descriptions.

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]

Important

• Fixed a bug due to which the client interface could be blocked after starting the game.

Weapons and Gear

• VKS "Chitin": fixed a bug due to which the texture of the silencer skin had a low resolution.
  
• M14 Crazy Horse "Toxicity": the weapon has been added to the list of prohibited equipment in Ranked Matches.

Other

• Fixed a bug due to which the icon of the box with a reward of the "Swarm" special operation was displayed incorrectly in the list of Ranked Matches rewards.
  
• The Special Operations event has been prolonged.

[h3]Known Bugs[/h3]

• The surrender vote in Ranked Matches is temporarily unavailable in the season "Swarm" # 1. You can start the vote but the selection buttons will be disabled.
  
• Hephaestus Flamethrower: the visual effect of flame while firing the arm is not displayed in the first person view after the player overcomes an obstacle.
  
• Sometimes in a DirectX 9 game client, a black screen appears when using the Alt + Tab keyboard combination in the full screen mode.
