A "Swarm" update hotfix has been installed on the Warface servers. It brings fixes to the blocked interface and other changes. Read on to learn details and hurry up to check it out in the game!

[h3]Content Changes[/h3]

Other

• There has been an exchange of rewards for completing the first and the second daily missions in the Battle Pass. Previously, the task "Eliminate 75 enemies in any mode" yielded 4 stars, while "Deal 10,000 damage in any mode" - 5 stars. Now, the first quest grants 5 stars, and the second one - 4 stars. The total number of rewards remains the same.
  
• The terms of one of the upcoming weekly missions in the "Swarm" Battle Pass have been updated.
  
• Updated in-game texts and descriptions.

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]

Important

• Fixed a bug due to which the client interface could be blocked after starting the game.

Weapons and Gear

• VKS "Chitin": fixed a bug due to which the texture of the silencer skin had a low resolution.
  
• M14 Crazy Horse "Toxicity": the weapon has been added to the list of prohibited equipment in Ranked Matches.

Other

• Fixed a bug due to which the icon of the box with a reward of the "Swarm" special operation was displayed incorrectly in the list of Ranked Matches rewards.
  
• The Special Operations event has been prolonged.

[h3]Known Bugs[/h3]

• The surrender vote in Ranked Matches is temporarily unavailable in the season "Swarm" # 1. You can start the vote but the selection buttons will be disabled.
  
• Hephaestus Flamethrower: the visual effect of flame while firing the arm is not displayed in the first person view after the player overcomes an obstacle.
  
• Sometimes in a DirectX 9 game client, a black screen appears when using the Alt + Tab keyboard combination in the full screen mode.

Dear players!

2020 Steam Awards have arrived. It has been a challenging year for everyone, Warface included. Yet, the spirit of the winter holidays is getting stronger by day. Right now though once again Steam users can make their voices heard, can make their opinions matter and can showcase their love for the games they have fun in and stick with.

Even though this year was a tough one, lots of important updates, bringing new content and fixes, were installed on Warface servers. We celebrated a large number of holidays together, completed various tasks during global events, tried out and even mastered new guns and skins as well as decorated weapons with new charms to stand out even more.

Despite certain stumbles along the way, we humbly hope that you do enjoy your time in Warface and have found something for your own taste in it - be it exterminating mutant beetles, delving into the labyrinth of politics between Warface and Blackwood, rising high in Ranked Matches or collecting all the available weapons.

There are a lot of quality of life improvements and content updates (Ho Ho Ho) in production, including but not limited to the heavily demanded changes and large scale improvements. We are looking forward to your feedback on them and will keep striving to make Warface better.

Upon choosing a card, you can purchase discounted items within 24 hours or once a day update the product line-up for free. Each subsequent update will cost 50 Kredits. In total, you can update the assortment no more than 25 times per day and carry out the maximum of 5 purchases.

24 hours after choosing a card, the sale cards will be updated, and you can choose a new one featuring a different discount and articles.

As the new “Swarm” update has landed on Warface servers, there are lots of activities going on in the game and on our social media platforms. We don’t want you to miss anything important! Our events will fit every taste: PvP or PvE lovers, social media fans and even those, who love capturing all bright moments of the game will have some fun activities to delve into— go read the article!

[h3]Special Operations Event[/h3]



Complete the specified Special Operations within a certain time frame and get extra rewards! The higher is the difficulty level - the more valuable and exclusive rewards you will get! For completing the specified Special Operations you will get crafting cards for certain classes. Don’t worry though — these missions can be completed with any class as the rewards are static!

Part one of the event started yesterday and will last till the 2nd of December:

"Pripyat"

• Easy: Box with crafting cards for Cobalt Kinetics EDGE Rifle (x1)
  
• Normal: Box with crafting cards for Cobalt Kinetics EDGE Rifle (x2)

Please note: As you know, Blackwood Special Operation features a unique reward system — to get the maximum reward, you will need to complete the operation three times so that each time you kill a new boss last. The reward for completion as well as the event reward will be distributed after the end of the weekly cycle allotted for mission completion. Speaking of other special operations — you will be rewarded for every completion in-game right away.

Enjoy the atmosphere of classic horror films of the 80s! The dawn haze will be a harbinger of the nightmare that you will have to live in reality. The pitch darkness that reigns in mysterious laboratories and damp tunnels of a grim underground bunker will make you shudder from every rustle and shoot into the darkness. Well, soldier. Welcome to "Swarm"!

[h3]Battle Pass "Swarm"[/h3]



Take part in the Battle Pass and earn tons of fascinating rewards including the assault rifle IWI Carmel, the weapon series "Toxicity" and "Chitin", two sets of "Arachnid" skins, weapon charms, unique achievements and much more!

[h3]Ranked Matches 2.0: Swarm Season #1[/h3]



The new season has already begun and will last till 08:30 UTC (09:30 CET) on the 23rd of December. You will fight on the maps of the "Plant the bomb" game mode. Please note that "Blitz" is excluded from the current season.

[h3]Themed Login Streak[/h3]

In the framework of the new season launch, the login streak items will be replaced with themed loot dedicated to "Swarm"! The streak will change its theme on November the 29th. We will tell you more about it in a separate publication. Please note that the items you will get may differ from the general schedule depending on the number of days you have not logged in.

[h3]Kill the Bug[/h3]

Team up to fight the boss on our Facebook page! If you manage to defeat it before December the 3rd, everyone will get a reward. Don’t miss your chance to save the planet and enjoy increased rates!
