UI & Balance Improvements – 1.0.1.2682025

[p]Today, we've prepared another batch of improvements to make your alchemical practice more convenient and profitable.[/p][h2]UI Fixes:[/h2]
  • [p]Improved information windows – properties no longer overlap when there are many of them. They now move to a second row for better readability.[/p]
  • [p]Enhanced Grimoire – enlarged control elements, including the search bar. Using the Grimoire is now more comfortable.[/p]
  • [p]Added crime cards highlighting – just like the cauldron highlights ingredient properties, the Inquisitor now highlights crime cards.[/p]
[h2]Balance Changes[/h2][p]Your excellent work as the Alchemist has increased demand and prices for potions![/p]
  • [p]Increased value for most potions starting from tier 3 – mid and late game stages will now be less tedious.[/p]
  • [p]Boosted value of potions that interest the Inquisitor – taking risks is now even more profitable![/p]
[h2]Bug Fix:[/h2]
  • [p]Fixed Banishment to the Gaping One ritual – you can now properly banish any unwanted curse to the void.[/p]

  • First-Level Transmutation Circle fix: Fixed an issue that caused the first-level transmutation circle to be non-functional.

Automation Boost & QoL Improvements - 1.0.1.2482025

[p]We've been busy fixing the rough edges from our launch. This patch tackles grind issues and some nasty bugs:[/p]
  • [p]All spirits and homunculi were deemed insufficiently diligent and underwent the Thousand Hands transformation. Their work speed has now increased at least twofold, and in some aspects (like gathering water from river) even more.[/p]
  • [p]Transmutation circle power has also been increased, allowing you to automate more diverse tasks:[/p]
    • [p]Circle of Curse can now hold 2 spirits[/p]
    • [p]Circle of Calling – 3 spirits and 1 homunculus[/p]
    • [p]Circle of Name – 3 spirits, 2 homunculi and 1 senior servant[/p]
    • [p]Circle of Nameless – 4 spirits, 3 homunculi and 1 senior servant[/p]
    [p]By the blessing of the Three-bodied, limit changes will apply to all current saves without needing to rebuild anything.[/p]
  • [p]Hunger acceleration – starving characters will now eat very quickly, as proper starving characters should, without wasting time on healing requests. Alchemist will decide who deserves treatment and who doesn't. The process now completes automatically without additional clicks.[/p]
  • [p]Fatigue timer has also been reduced.[/p]
  • [p]Added right-click functionality – you can now right-click on a slot to pull a card into it.[/p]
  • [p]Additional functionality for garden patches – high-level patches will now reduce the time required for planting in addition to providing increased yields. Your turnip empire will become even more magnificent![/p]
  • [p]Functionality fix – the "gardener" trait now works correctly and reduces plant growth stage duration. The peasant has been reprimanded and now performs their learned duties properly.[/p]
  • [p]Strengthened friendship – Marina will now stay on your plot longer so you won't miss her. After all, you have a scenic plot with plenty to admire.[/p]
  • [p]Added more frames for better space organization – you asked for them![/p]
  • [p]Added FPS Limit to settings. This option is enabled by default – we hope it fixes the issue where clicks were being registered as holds on high-FPS monitors.[/p]

Balance & Bug Fixes - 1.0.1.2482025

[p]We've been busy fixing the rough edges from our rushed launch. This patch tackles the biggest grind issues and some nasty bugs that were breaking saves.

Balance Changes: [/p]
  • [p]Gathering just got easier! All rare plant seeds now have higher fertility and will usually yield two harvests—or even more. Thanks to the blessing of Mother Raw-Earth, you won't have to run expeditions for new seeds as often.[/p]
  • [p]Faster potion brewing: Long-brewing potions now go quicker, so your extra ingredients won't get stuck in storage.[/p]
  • [p]Transmutation circle upgrade: The first transmutation circle can now hold two spirits instead of one, letting you automate multiple tasks earlier in the game. Unfortunately, for current saves, this will only work if you rebuild the Curse Transmutation Circle or upgrade it to level 4.[/p]
  • [p]Alchemist nerf: Our alchemist is no longer a Terminator—too many scars will finally take their toll. If you absolutely need something immortal, build yourself a golem.[/p]
  • [p]Mid-game adventure balance: Difficulty curve is now smoother. Rolling hills won't be such brutal obstacles after calm forests.[/p]
  • [p]Guaranteed expedition loot: Every successful expedition now guarantees at least one corpse appropriate to the location. Lazy adventurers used to drop them halfway, but we've had a serious talk. This should reduce ingredient shortages—or if you're already stocked, toss them on your garden—they make surprisingly good fertilizer.[/p]
[p]Technical Updates: [/p]
  • [p]Backup load button: Backups have always existed in the game, but now loading them is partially automated. One button press rolls the game back one backup (2–5 minutes, depending on which patches the saves were made after). Some of you had corrupted long saves due to nasty bugs—we hope this small rollback will help at least some of you. We deeply apologize and thank you for your patience.[/p]
  • [p]Hieroglyphs display fix: We poured a lot of effort into fixing the display of hieroglyphs (and we hope it worked!). Please let us know if the problem has disappeared.[/p]
  • [p]Text polishing: Many text fixes across the game! We're gradually smoothing everything out, and your reports are a huge help—thank you!
