Pennon and Battle 0.7.30 Version Maintenance Notice

Dear Lords:
Pennon and Battle will undergo maintenance at 5:00 PM (Pacific Time) on October 17th. During this maintenance, there will be an expected downtime of 1 hour. It is recommended that all players log out of the game in advance and log back in after the maintenance is complete.

  • Added a new random Alignment-limited building for each town
  • Added new Sacred Oath Alliance-limited building [Modification Factory], adjusted effects of [Repair Factory] and [Armoury]
  • Added new Barbarian Tribes-limited buildings [Slave Factory] and [Fang Base], adjusted effects of [Assemble Area] and [The Goblin Chamber of Commerce]
  • Added new Elven Empire-limited buildings [Silvermoon Hot Spring], [Mint Workshop], and [Arcane Society], adjusted effects of [Moonlight Well]
  • Added new Eternight Council-limited buildings [Mist Stele] and [Finance Hall]
  • Added new Ancient Swarm-limited buildings [Sacrifice Platform] and [Wormhole]
(PS: Due to town adjustments, ongoing campaigns will reset Alignment-limited buildings status to ensure the campaign correctly running.)

  • Spell books would no longer include Arcane spells
  • Added [Levitating], [Whirlwind Arrow], and [Heavy Storm] for Wind spell, remove [Blindness], [Curse of Misfortune], and [Divine Descent]
  • Added [Rock Spike Shield] for Earth spells, removed [Psychic Scream], [Shadow Cloak]
  • Added [Ice Trap] and [Ice Crystal Barrier] for Water spells, adjusted the [Phantom] effect, remove [Weakness Laser], [Cleanse], [Healing], and [Blessing of Precision]
(PS: Removed spells will be classified under Light and Darkness spells and will reappear in future updates)

  • Adjusted the initial skill of Freida Guardian
  • Adjusted the Initial spell of Freida Guardian and Nocturne
  • Added new ability [Hurricane Guard] for Wind Mastery Skills, removed ability [Divine Wrath]
  • Added new ability [Terrain Manipulation] for Earth Mastery Skills, adjusted effect of [Earth Arcane I], removed ability [Earth Arcane II]
  • Added new ability [Condense Phantom] for Water Mastery Skills, adjusted effects of [Water Bonus], [Water Arcane I], and [Water Arcane II], removed ability [Dispel]
(PS: Some removed abilities will be classified under the abilities of Light and Darkness skills and will reappear in future updates)

  • Adjusted the remote attack damage calculation rules

  • Added Instructions, you can access it via [Menu] - [Instructions] in the lobby for basic game content guidance

  • Added [Map Speed] in system settings, allowing to customize map movement speed
  • Added [Disbale Spellcasting in Quick Battle] option in system settings, no spells would be cast during quick battles when checked
  • Added War Machinery exchange button for [Hero Swap], able to exchange War Machinery of both sides at once
  • Added [Filter] and [Select All] functions for [Treasure Store] of Sacred Oath Alliance
  • Optimized [Unlock Hero] function, able to check all unlocked and locked heroes in the hero list
  • The game lobby would display the remaining Operational Readiness
  • Continues to optimize and improve interface display and interaction

[h3]Issue Fixes[/h3]
  • Fixed the issue where the [Ancient Swarm] Alignment neutral towns did not improperly generate in campaigns
  • Fixed the issue where [Lifesteal] improperly affected non-living units
  • Fixed some player-reported and known issues

  • Added a new ability [Spatial Control] for Skill [Wind Mastery]
  • Adjusted the ability [Desperate Counterattack] effect of Skill [Combat] to trigger up to once per turn

[h3]Soldier[/h3]
  • Added new upgraded route for Barbarian Tribes soldiers (temporary models and graph resources, will be replaced in the future)
  • Added maximum limit to the effect of soldier spells

[h3]Other Optimizations[/h3]
  • Added more customized speed options for moving and battle animation in system settings
  • Added a new [Recruit All] button in campaigns to recruit all soldiers at once
  • Add new [Quick Cast] in system settings, enable quick cast bar to customize up to 5 spells
  • Casting the spell [Dispel the Mist] will no longer move the camera
  • Bulk sale feature added to Sacred Oath Alliance's Treasure Store
  • Added new resolution 3840x2160 (4K)
  • Optimized and improved the UI display and interaction performance

In the two months since the Early Access, we have made a lot of optimizations and adjustments based on feedback and added many new contents. Here is a brief introduction~

[h3]Game Mode:[/h3]
Added a story campaign mode - "Bloody Moonlit", currently updated to the first three chapters: "Nature's Death", "Dragon's Pact", and "Deliverance Operation". The Elves are united and fight for the empire reviving, but the Moonlit Forest is invaded by Orcs due to weak defenses. You will play the role of the Elf Prince Serlin, leading Elves to retreat from the Barbarian encirclement and seek reinforcements to resist Barbarians...

[h3]Game Difficulty:[/h3]
We added difficulty customization for each campaign map, adjusted the initial resources of the campaign, reduced the BOT development speed at lower difficulties, and added many interesting large maps. Whether a new or experienced player, everyone could find a suitable game difficulty and map.

[h3]Heroes:[/h3]
In each of the five alignments, we added two new heroes. It brought the current total number of heroes to 55 in the game, and heroes had different talents and abilities. We hoped that everyone could train their favorite heroes, so we also reduced the difficulty of hero development out of the campaign. Nearly a hundred new hero equipment items were added to the campaign, and heroes could restore status or learn spells when visiting alliance towns.

[h3]Soldiers:[/h3]
We optimized the performances of some soldier's sound effects and skill animations. And now, we are testing new upgrade routes for soldiers of each alignment for continuous updates. As a small studio, we have to take some time for some soldier 3D model productions and use some temporary resources in the game. We will produce and replace them as soon as possible, appreciate your understanding and support.

We will do our best to achieve the roadmap in future updates. Planning to add new spell types, new events in the campaign, new combat units, and more diverse victory conditions. Please stay tuned!

Finally, we really hope to hear your feedback during the early access period, which will greatly help our subsequent development work. You can submit suggestions for "Pennon and Battle" through our official community, Steam community feedback collection posts, and other channels. However, if you encounter game operation issues, we recommend you prioritize feedback through the in-game customer service center, which will help us verify and resolve issues more quickly.

  • All new soldiers enlist now! (temporary resources)
  • Adjusted the process of soldier recruitment and upgrade. Soldiers will have 2 upgrade routes. 
  • Upgraded soldiers can be converted to another upgrade route in towns for spending a certain amount of Golden Coins
  • New soldiers of each Alignment will be randomly generated as guards on the map

[h3]Battle[/h3]
  • Added corresponding AI behaviors for some new soldiers in battle
  • Optimized animation performance of some new skills
  • Non-living Creatures will no longer affected by "Blind", "Poison", "Asleep", and "Stunning"

[h3]Weekly Tasks[/h3]
  • Adjusted the number of weekly tasks, remove Arena-related tasks
  • Added more weekly task types

[h3]Other Optimizations[/h3]
  • Optimized and improved the UI display and interaction performance

[h3]MOD[/h3]
  • Due to new soldiers having enlisted, the MOD function will be temporarily closed

[h3]Issue Fixes[/h3]
  • Fix the issue where the [Great Magister] achievement could not be properly completed
  • Fix some issues reported by players and known issues
