HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! We hope that you're all having a blast this sp00ktacular day! In celebration of all things horrifying on this special TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY of No More Room in Hell, we present to you a video celebrating this milestone and our NEW 1.12 update featuring THREE new maps: Rockpit, Anxiety, and Drugstore plus a super major overhaul to Boardwalk.

No More Room in Hell 2 - Alpha Gameplay Trailer

We are happy to share with you the progress on the game so far in our new Alpha Gameplay trailer!

Everything in this video is a WORK IN PROGRESS - this means that it isn't finished! Animations, art, sound, mechanics, combat, movement, characters - everything you see here is still being worked on, and we are not going to release the game until it's ready. All of these little things will get addressed before you eventually play the game, don't you worry :)

We've got some huge updates coming in soon too, with new weapons, more zombie variety, a bunch of new gameplay features we're working on plus we've started designing our 4th map! Can't wait to show you all more in the near future.

More Screenshots from Playtesting

Hey everyone!

We've been hard at work on the game and have made huge improvements to network performance, AI, combat, and a bunch of other major features. Work on the Brooklyn map continues as it reaches near-complete design pass and will be ready for it's second art pass very soon, once that happens you can expect a ton more footage from that map!

Our zombie AI (especially runners) can now climb/vault over objects to better reach players. We also now have working ladders! Might not sound like a big deal, but it is.... when building a game from scratch every new feature is a big deal :)

Melee combat has seen incredible improvements with animation, combo attacks, and hit reactions. Major improvements to our networking code has made play sessions even on moderate connections incredibly smooth, even for the host of a Listen server. This means far less delay between you, zombies, and your actions - meaning if you die, it's only because you suck really bad and not because of your internet connection!

We've also brought on a few more testers recently. Hepling us find bugs, gauge performance, and give valuable feedback about gameplay. To those diehards active on our Discord, you may be next!

So we have been hard at work on the game and we have a lot of cool stuff we are excited to show off in a new trailer very soon!

In the mean time, while we were recording a few of our testers snapped some cool shots we thought we'd share to tide you over until the trailer!

It's all WORK IN PROGRESS of course, plenty of VFX, animations, textures and other things we have to finish before it's done, but it's getting there and boy oh boy is the game tough!
