Our Closed Beta is Live!

[p]If you’ve registered for the Scrap Daddies Closed Beta this weekend, it is now live! We will be slowly letting players in, so look out for a Steam notification or email for access. The beta runs Friday through Sunday, and you’ll be among the very first people to ever play Scrap Daddies before Early Access so we're very excited to hear your thoughts! [/p][p][/p][h3]So... once you’re in and ready to play, what do you do? [/h3][p]Well first, team up with two friends, pick a loadout, and then head into your submersible for a salvage run. Once you’re there...[/p][p]Grab Power Cells[/p][p]New Tortuga lives and dies by its Power Cells. During your team dive, you’ll have only a few minutes to locate every Power Cell in the facility and return them all to your sub. They’re your absolute first priority. Coordinate with your teammates to track down all Power Cells using the mini-map. [/p][p]Scavenge[/p][p]Once you have all the Power Cells, loot crates to find valuable scrap. All kinds of intriguing items await you.[/p][p]Prepare for Danger[/p][p]Enemies and environmental hazards are everywhere. Battle fires with the proper extinguisher tools, use repair tools to get extra time, and take down monsters with your weapon of choice. [/p][p]Watch the Clock[/p][p]Scrap Daddies moves fast. Keep a very careful eye on your timer. If you’re not aboard the sub when the clock expires, you’re out of luck. Will my progress from the playtests roll over to the main game when it launches?[/p][p]Yes, your progress will carry over from the playtest to the main game upon launch.[/p][p][/p][p]4. I think I found a bug, how can I let you know?[/p][p]You can either join our Discord and let us know in our #report-bugs channel, or you can mention the bug(s) when you leave feedback (see question 4, above). [/p][p][/p][p]6. My friends want to play with me but they haven't been granted access yet. How can they play?[/p][p]Each player who is granted access to the playtest will be able to invite 3 of their friends into the playtest, even if they haven't requested access or been granted access. [/p]
