Beta patch 035:
[h2][/h2][p]The biggest change that this update has coming are the changes to the way Crates will store Player Items.[/p][p][/p][p]Some praise it. Some hate it.[/p][p][/p][p]This was not a decision made out of desire to change it, but necessity. As players progressed in the game, the loads being transported consisted of hundreds of items which led to steep performance drops and inconsistent behavior.[/p][p][/p][p]Overall I plan to add some great features and maximize this change to the benefit of the player and I remain excited for your thoughts once finished.[/p][p][/p][p]The current starts of the system are on Beta currently for those that wish to test it now![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p] (OUT OF TOWN) - I will be out until Dec. 12th! But will quickly get the system finished up and pushed to regular upon returning.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Improvements:[/h3]
  • [p] Adding Crate packing & inventory system[/p]
  • [p] Items player recently handled will not be deleted on Dawn Restocks[/p]
  • [p] Items players steal will be marked as stolen in crates[/p]
  • [p] Stolen Items take 3 days to “cool off”, then will become normal items[/p]
  • [p] Improved King’s Road Guard Dialogue[/p]
  • [p] Added charges/consequences to Being on King’s Road without Permit[/p]
  • [p] King’s Road Guards check for stolen goods[/p]
  • [p] No more rain/wind effects underwater[/p]
  • [p] Added Stabilization to shelf rotation[/p]
  • [p] Guards now search and detect stolen goods in crates[/p]
  • [p] Guards can confiscate Stolen Goods in crates[/p]

  • [p] Ivernox King’s Road Captains issuing Yorlen Harbor passes. (If you pay before talking to them it will work though)[/p]
  • [p] Fixed some typos[/p]
  • [p] Fixed Tutorial Signs not updating correctly when swapping to GamePad[/p]
  • [p] Fixed Trader Menu Buying & Selling lists sometimes not displaying items in correct category (Transaction results were still correct though)[/p]
  • [p] Swimming being cancelled if entering/exiting water quickly[/p]
  • [p] Player not swimming if walking along slope into water[/p]
  • [p] Saved Resolution was not being applied on game start[/p]
  • [p] Resolution Scroll Select was wigging out[/p]
  • [p] Dictionary Remaining in front of Game Menu when opened[/p]
  • [p] Dictionary panels would incorrectly get bigger when highlighted[/p]
  • [p] Exiting Game Menu would not return focus to dictionary or crate item menu[/p]
  • [p] Items in crates often wouldn’t register with traders[/p]
  • [p] Dawn market restocks glitched unbought items in crate[/p]
  • [p] Getting NPC Dialogue option looking “through” other objects fixed[/p]

[p][/p][p]Yep so the villager buying process needed some love before finishing up the next town and getting some more cart options into the game. Setting up your things to then have some shotty issues with villagers coming up to buy was a drag, and it needed fixing.[/p][p][/p][p]So this had a major re-write and is a step in a good direction.[/p][p][/p][p]Still some work to do, and it will be quickly resumed when I get back on Monday, but still wanted to get this out for those that plan to play at some point over the weekend.[/p][p][/p][p]There is also a new role in the Discord if you want to be a "Beta Tester" and receive Beta Test alerts![/p][p][/p][p]Improvements:[/p]
  • [p] Adjusted Villager buying/queue logic[/p]
  • [p] Added signs to Yorlen Harbor[/p]
  • [p] Added sign to Ancillary storage area[/p]
  • [p] Better swimming…maybe..testing[/p]
  • [p] Player stall open/close adjustments[/p]
  • [p] Renamed “Storage Crates” to “Sealed Crates” (preserve food items)[/p]
  • [p] Adjusted Gold Bar color[/p]

  • [p] Fixed issue with key binds not saving in tutorial[/p]
  • [p] Maybe fixed the water/sky black line issue…testing[/p]

Improvements:
  • Added “Press E” or bound key to NPC interactions
  • Adjusted some road signs to make travel direction more clear
  • Crossing King’s Road at required junctions does not trigger violations
  • Updated Initial Shop Spawn logic for initial items
  • Re-Added hotkey for keyboards to hide-ui menu (gamepads must use video settings in menu)
  • Added Menu rebind key in settings


Bugs Fixed:
  • Removed collisions between NPC’s and player held items and player cart while I improve them
  • Stopped Tutorial Shop from restocking (was not supposed to can cause items to wig-out)
  • Fixed bug where New Players if playing Tutorial first and saving at main menu could cause player lock at beginning of New Game

HotFix 11/8/2025 @ 2:50pm CST

- Adjusted some road signs to make travel direction more clear

Small Fixes for patch 033.1

  • VSync logic corrected (testing), You can select VSync for monitor based refresh or Target Frame Rate (Not both)
  • Ivernox could assign wrong permit
  • Hide UI is not longer a bindable key (could be toggled by accident) and is now a toggle in the Video Settings Menu
  • Multiple Coin and Mushroom drop logic improved
  • Default Dictionary button for controller remapped to Right Button Press
  • Default Consume button for controller remapped to B
