[p]We had a lot of great questions during this month's Dev Q&A livestream. Here's a breakdown of all the questions and answers on all things Crime Boss![/p][p][/p][h3]Crime Boss: Rockay City – Community Q&A EVENT (July 14 2025)[/h3][p]🔧 Bugs & Technical Issues[/p][p]Q: In co-op, characters levitated and clipped through the floor. Is this a known bug? A: Likely a connection issue. Not something reproducible with current info.[/p][p]Q: Is the equipment desync bug (client not seeing equipment recharging) fixed? A: Yes, this was fixed in Update 16.[/p][p]Q: Are you aware of bugs affecting client players like disappearing HUD or unusable gadgets? A: The HUD bug is resolved. Other issues like climbing or gadget glitches are rare and hard to reproduce.[/p][p][/p][h3]⚙️ Optimization & Performance[/h3][p]Q: Will we see a major optimization patch for PC and consoles? A: We regularly optimize, but significant FPS boosts would require deep code and asset changes—not something quick or simple.[/p][p][/p][h3]🎮 Gameplay Mechanics[/h3][p]Q: Will client-sided movement or damage be implemented? A: Raytraced weapons already use client-side damage. Movement has some client-side authority, but full switch is unlikely due to how much logic is server-handled.[/p][p]Q: On Rendezvous, why does killing civilians break Clean Execution even when enemies do it? A: That was a bug—it has been fixed.[/p][p]Q: Can we get acceleration vs. linear aim options for controller users on PC? A: A bug report will be opened to address this.[/p][p][/p][h3]📘 Campaign & Roguelite[/h3][p]Q: Will campaign runs eventually support permanent unlocks? A: No. Aside from Club Assets and Boss Cards, it would break roguelite structure.[/p][p]Q: Can “Art of the Heist” be added to Roguelite campaign? A: Yes. There are plans to include it.[/p][p]Q: Are more small/medium jobs coming to the campaign? A: Yes. Update 17 adds a new branch bank and additional missions.[/p][p]Q: The final Ranger mission is too difficult. Will it be adjusted? A: Difficulty was lowered in 16.1. If feedback remains strong, we’ll revisit.[/p][p]Q: Will we get a custom Roguelite difficulty option? A: No. Too costly in time and resources.[/p][p]Q: Will intro or outro campaign cutscenes return? A: Maybe. Nothing confirmed yet.[/p][p]Q: Will the Imperial version of Hidden Vault come to campaign? A: Maybe. Good idea, could happen.[/p][p][/p][h3]🧩 UI/UX Features[/h3][p]Q: Will teammate perks return to the character overview screen? A: Yes, we plan to bring that back.[/p][p]Q: Can we rename boss slots? A: No. Not planned.[/p][p]Q: Will you add first-person legs/full-body awareness? A: Not planned.[/p][p]Q: Can we spectate other players in first-person when we die? A: No. Spectator mode remains third-person only.[/p][p][/p][h3]👥 Multiplayer & Co-op[/h3][p]Q: Are more multiplayer money sinks coming? A: We're actively discussing new options.[/p][p]Q: Will more boss slots be added? A: Possibly, if there’s enough demand.[/p][p][/p][h3]🔫 Weapons & Gear[/h3][p]Q: Will there be any form of weapon customization, like removing scopes? A: No. Not planned.[/p][p]Q: Are gun charms coming? A: Not at this time.[/p][p]Q: Can we get old weapon skins back? A: Possibly. A wishlist approach is being considered.[/p][p]Q: Dual pistols someday? A: Not in the current plans.[/p][p]Q: Can EMP grenades disable lasers? A: No. Not on the roadmap.[/p][p]Q: Will we ever be able to compare unique character weapons to standard ones? A: Not planned.[/p][p][/p][h3]🎭 Characters & Cosmetics[/h3][p]Q: Do Hielo defenders buff cops as well as gangsters? A: No. Only gangsters.[/p][p]Q: Will we see red dress versions of Casey or (more importantly) a red dress version of Wiz? A: Casey’s outfit isn’t confirmed but expect Wiz news soon.[/p][p]Q: Can we play as Buddy or Dollar Dragon in co-op? A: Dragon is available via Gold Cup DLC. Buddy can be used via team switch, but not directly.[/p][p][/p][h3]🤖 AI & Bots[/h3][p]Q: Will you continue improving bot behavior post-Update 14? A: Definitely. Feedback is welcome, though responses are often subjective.[/p][p]Q: Why do bots sometimes grab bags from the drop zone? A: They shouldn’t. Could happen if bags are slightly outside the zone.[/p][p]Q: Do AI use ziplines to transport loot? A: Yes, they do. Should be consistent across missions.[/p][p][/p][h3]📈 Events & Community Features[/h3][p]Q: Why can’t we track community event progress? A: We're working on this for future events, including web-based tracking. These events are still experimental.[/p][p]Q: Will missed community tier rewards ever return? A: Yes. They will reappear in future events.[/p][p][/p][h3]🎙️ Voice & Tribute Content[/h3][p]Q: Do you have more VO lines recorded by Michael Madsen? A: Yes. We may use them if the opportunity fits, but nothing is guaranteed.[/p][p][/p][h3]💥 Bonus Topics[/h3][p]Q: Can you make a survival mode? A: We got one! Rockay Rumble is our survivor mode. You must outlast 15 waves of the enemy.[/p][p]Q: Are posters being replaced with AI art? A: No. AI art is being replaced with handmade posters.
