WHY YOU SHOULD PICK UP CRIME BOSS: ROCKAY CITY
Crime Boss: Rockay City first released over a year ago on March 28th, 2023. Since then, 505 Games and the development team at InGame Studios have been working non-stop to craft and polish an exciting addition to the first-person heisting genre of games. As we fast approach the launch of Crime Boss on Steam along with our 9th major update, we want to highlight a few of the many things that make this game so great.
Crime Boss: Rockay City boasts many features that not only make it unique but also allow it to truly stand on its own. Set in the City of Rockay, inspired by 90s Miami, players will experience the art-deco cultural hub in the style of an over-the-top, action-filled crime fantasy. Playing with friends to pull off a variety of jobs, from national banks to simple gas station hold-ups, offers all manner of mischief to find yourself in.
Joining others and working together to steal the cash and level up your own unique boss in the online game modes is fun and rewarding. However, if you prefer to go at it alone, you can shoot, loot, and take over the town in the single-player roguelite campaign, Baker’s Battle. Play as Travis Baker and a host of other memorable characters as you engage in a vicious turf war against rival gangs while completing daring heists. Manage your crew, assets, and equipment while doing your best to avoid the law and Sheriff Norris' detectives.
There are many money-making opportunities and experiences to be had in Crime Boss, all of which can be experienced online or offline, whichever you prefer.
On June 18th, Crime Boss will finally make its long-awaited arrival on Steam. Releasing the game on the world’s largest PC gaming platform is a massive step in the right direction for the game and us, the developers. Along with the release comes our 2nd major DLC, ‘Cagnali’s Order,’ something that we are very proud of and excited for current and new players to get their hands on. This will allow us to gauge what people enjoy and what sort of content they would like to see in the future, of which we are not short of ideas.
Each previous update has brought new, refreshing features, including additional missions, weapons, playable characters, multiplayer game modes, a redesigned progression system, and more.
It is our mission to continue this trend of adding to and polishing the game. We always want players to be surprised (in a positive way) with each new update, and you can be sure that there’s a lot more in store for Crime Boss down the road.
We owe a lot to our fans, new and old. Much of what has become of the game can be attributed to those who have learned the ins and outs of Crime Boss and come to us with fantastic suggestions. Over the course of the year, we have been very active with the players, talking through open Q&As, dev streams, and other media.
